I lived in Buffalo for a short time working the oil fields. It's like the 50's there. People leave their keys in their car "just in case someone needs to move it out of the way."

Hi Russ. If you get a chance, check out Delta 01 National Park site near Wall SD. I pulled missile duty out there when I was in the Air Force. Sturgis beef jerky is the best in the est! The town is spelled funny, but is pronounced "Bell-Foosh"

Yea! We made it to South Dakota but that was a nice camp ground that you stayed in leaving North Dakota. The round bails of hay will feed the cattle during the winter time. Buffalo was a nice RV friendly town. Enjoyed and thank you so much. Safe travels.

Belle Fouche I remember it well,it's pronounced "foosh",thanks for a stroll down memory lane stayed in buffalo S.D. while logging in Custer national forest out of camp crook Montana a couple of centuries ago.

Found your video blog by accident on youtube; really enjoy them. Haven't been back stateside from Israel for over 25 years - nice to see a lighter side of the US from what the media reports (crime, strife, politics...). Your laid back persona and endearing laugh take me back to a more innocent time when I grew up in NJ, 1950s/early 60s. Keep up the travel logs.
