We camped there after not finding a motel up in Williston or further south. During the fracking boom. Also, took the overlook where Roosevelt stood. Your talk of working in Montana reminds me of when my dad talked about working on the Ft. Peck dam during the 1930's, and my grandparents homesteaded south on Minot, close to the Missouri River.

I went Dakota a few years ago during the Sturgis Rally which you were almost there for. And there was a long line of people watching Buffalo cross the road. It was cow and calf walking down the middle of the road and we're on our motorcycles and that thing was coming right towards us so we decided we might just turn around and go the other way if they think you're even looking at their baby sometimes they'll charge you I wasn't going to stick around for that just in case but they are big and wonderful to look at.

A 9 year old was just gored by a buffalo there in the last couple days! And, of course you probably heard about the 6 year old in Yellowstone that was bucked up in the air. They are probably sorting each other out for the upcoming fall rut. Stay safe!

Russ love watching Buffalo as they are a strong animal. They do shed there coat but will grow a new one for the winter time. Even though Buffalo are an in creditable animal they sure are not to be trusted. Loved the scenic views in this video and thank you so much. Learn something new all the time.

I was wondering if you could have used your drone at the overlook, or is that against the rules in a federal park. I discover your channel and love it.. so much so i went out and brought my own drone. Now thinking of trading my travel trailer for a Van.. you have insprised me.. thanks Russ.
