I know this is old but still valid. I watched your videos and ended up with the Ryobi 1800, Uber Flex hose, McKillans gun, and the 2.5 GPM nozzles, and the disconnects. I enjoyed washing my car today. Thanks to you, I have a good enough low cost garage pressure washer setup. Very happy with my setup now. Coming from a gas 3200 psi ryobi pressure washer. Thanks for the info!!!!

Car Craft Auto Detailing has better 50/50’s and is a Jedi-level detailer, obsessed garage does better tool reviews and is more knowledgeable (even tho I hate that guy), Apex Detail is an uncontested pro. Pan the Advertiser just makes commercials for companies and collects checks. He has no barometer of what makes a product any good. Tesla ain’t as bad but he wants to be, hence the mountains of affiliate marketing

I also bought the 2.5 orfice via your link which assuming watching your video gave me 1050psi at about 1.4ish (safe for cars). I also used MR PINK and WOOOOOOOOW and my 2021 Challenger GT AWD was covered in FOAM like a Buffalo NY winter morning. Works great. ordered the quick connencts and waiting for them as well. I received my pressure washer kzfaq.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP over the weekend and decided to wait for the sun to come out before firing it up. Was needed to clean the deck. Our last pressure washer broke a couple of seasons ago, and I just hadn't replaced it yet. This one had great comments, so here we are. It was easy to assemble, and the trigger wand is comfortable and easy to hold for long periods of time. The pressure washer worked great and made quick work of the "TN North side algae" that inevitably grows every year. I also washed all of the deck furniture while I was at it... it all looks great! So far I am happy with this purchase. I plan to climb the ladder to wash siding over the next couple of days, will update if I have anything else to add after that!

I just purchased this Ryobi 1800 psi pressure washer based off this review. I didn't realize how tiny it was until I opened the box. I just used it today and so far I really like it. HOWEVER, I can easily see how the longer hose will be beneficial. So, I am going to get the Uberflex and the 2.5 nozzles that are both linked above in this video. I was also surprised by how quiet this unit was. I was using my neighbor's gas powered pressure washer but I like this Ryobi much better. Sure, it is NOT nearly as powerful as the gas powered washer but this little unit meets and exceeds my needs for washing cars and hosing off my cool deck and sidewalks.

I bought this little guy about a week ago and for the price, you cannot beat it! It took about 10 minutes to assemble and about 1 minute to hook up some water and start washing. I'm new to power washing things around the house and I wanted something easy and portable to clean my siding, deck, and a stone slab - and this thing is it. Needless to say, it tackled them all flawlessly with the default attachments. In regards to the slab - I actually didn't have time to finish it, but I knocked out a corner just to test and I'm very happy with the results.. I'm actually looking forward to this coming weekend to finish the whole slab.

I have the version with the black housing. I had bought a Greenworks electric pressure washer from Lowes when my gas-powered unit went in for repair. The GreenWorks lasted about 4 months.. the pump seals went ( a light mist at first to a full-blown failure). I saw the Ryobi on sale for $80 at the "big orange box" and said "why not"? It works like a champ. I did save the framework that the Greenworks unit came on, I am making a small shelf to put the Ryobi on to make it easier to wheel around.

I've been using this Pressure washer for the last few months ever since watching this video, I got mine off Amazon and is different color, this color is a Home Depot exclusive. I just wanted to express my gratitude for your helpful guidance in helping me set up my home car washing system. Thanks to your advice, I was able to make informed decisions on each component and spend money where it was necessary while saving money where possible. I decided to invest in the Griots "Boss" foam cannon and was impressed by the quality of foam and how it dispersed itself. I also picked the McKillan stubby gun and upgraded to quick connects, as you suggested. This left me with the task of finding a pressure washer to use solely for this purpose. After watching a video, I was confident that the Ryobi 1800 would be perfect for my needs. I bought a set with openings of .025 after understanding the tips and flow rates. With this setup, I was able to achieve excellent foam and an outstanding rinse with the 25-degree tip. In the end, I was able to create a system that fit my requirements and cost less than $250.00 for the entire setup. Thank you once again for your invaluable assistance.

Not a professional detailer...just my personal vehicles. I opted for the Ryobi about a month ago and so far very pleased. I did scrap the included bits and pieces and went with a MacKillans foam cannon with swivel handle and an aftermarket flexible hose. I did need an adapter to convert the Ryobi 'out' nipple to accept the standard hose fitting size but other than that, nothing else. I just couldn't see spend hundreds for a washer, or $1000+ for a Kranzle for my limited use. This little thing works just fine for my intended use.

I have this pressure washer. Its pretty awesome. Took off years worth of shit on my vinyl siding. Its a little slower going since you need to be very close to the siding with the tip to get the deepest cleaning, - but this machine is so small, so convenient, and so easy to use - theres really NOTHING to not like. I bought the entire set of quick connects and a cheap $25 stubby wand - its perfect. I have a big gas John Deere pressure washer and I’d rather use this. Who wants to listen to that gas one running, and i can walk away from this without worrying about anything for as long as I need or want to.

Josh I agree with gpm rinses off more than psi. But what about if your mobile on gravity wouldn’t it be the other way around as water is limited. I guess you can always ask the customer to use their water if you have that option if your tank gets too low. But the professional thing is to try to have enough water to complete the job

So I'm only going to use this for car washing, because I have a much bigger gas powered pressure washer for other things around the house. I just needed something easier to grab and able to not tear up a car. I'm a little concerned about the GPM but if you think putting that bigger. Orifice will give me enough GPM to rinse off the car, then I would get this. Just really nervous about that.

Just fyi those "soap blasters" that these come with are meant more for things like washing a driveway or your house. So you can put some driveway cleaner or house wash solution into the little blaster and have a water/soap mix that you can squirt on things before rinsing with the regular nozzles or turbo nozzle.

I came here to watch how this machine use to work cause recently I did returned to store one to get a refund for burn motor. I did used it just twice in les than a month. I was so trusted in Rioby tools but now I`m gonna think it twice before buy. The pressure washer works great the times I did use it. until stop working and smell like burned out. I leaves this comment just to a advise and put a warranty if you planning to buy one.

Hi Josh. Thanks for all of the pressure washer reviews you do. So incredibly helpful. Have you ever reviewed (or would you consider reviewing) the Worx Hydro Shot?

I was thinking of buying this for some mold and dirt on my house not my car. Didn't hear any mention about using if for the house or sidewalks. I don't care about the 1600 only the review on the 1800 that the video was titled. I can wash my car without a power washer. Thanks.

Which would you recommend,I'll be using it for car washing, but which one you think would be best, the $100-1600/$160-1800 or the $200- 2000,maybe the 2000psi with the 2.5 or 3. Tips to keep the psi a little better?

How do you think 3/8" diameter 50ft hose would change the psi and gpm? Also which would you pick, Active 2.0 or this? Obviously there's a price difference as Active 2.0 is $350 and this is on sale at home Depot for $99. Is the extra gpm in the Active 2.0 worth the extra cost?

Pressure, flow rate, and orifice size are all related. If you have two of the three variables you should be able to find the third. It looks like Ryobi did their rating with the 1.7 orifice.

Ok, every product works good the first day that you buy it, and so far I have been very disappointed with Ryobi products, every thing I have bought from Ryobi has failed during the start of the 2nd year. My Ryobi screw gun failed at the beginning of the 2nd year, but the gun I bought afterwards a Black and Decker Quantum Hammer gun (same price as my Ryobi) is still working after 18 years, only thing wrong with the Black and Decker is it is a Beast for weight. So last year I bought a Skill, which is powerful but don't have the hammer feature, but I like the quick change feature for bits just push them in until you feel the click no need to tighten the bit in nice light gun. Now the 2nd thing I bought from Ryobi was a weed whacker with attachment feature, Used it twice and then the gas motor failed, so from what I see Ryobi sells you cheap junk, I don't even want to talk about their Table Saws, ever watch a blade come flying out (the shaft broke) I have, Now after reviewing this do you think this will hold up as long as my Harbor Freight Pressure washer 1200 psi ($39.95) it finally started acting up this year, I bought it in 1995, still works but I turn it on and have to take off the pressure hose for the pressure motor to start then screw on the pressure hose used it almost every year to clean the driveways, house and even used it to dig the trenches for piping for a water pipe (8 inches deep and about 48 ft. long) so we could have a front yard water hose. Now one good thing about Ryobi that I found out, after your screw gun breaks don't throw out the charger or batteries, I am still using them today, I soldered on some wire with quick connects and use them for my Black and Decker weed wackers but really would of enjoyed using the different attachments.

USE on AC coils!! MY AC was Freezing up! Coils were dirty from 30 years of Arizona dust!!! I got on the roof! At my age, not so smart. But AC charged a service charge! Years of money wasted on lies! It was just dirt in the fins!!! Thank you! tell others it cleans AC fins GREAT! "O" let me say, a Stainless steel dog brush will clean and straighten those aluminum fins.

SO, Im just cleaning trash cans (not household bins, the big ones the city collects from your house every week). I've watched several of your videos, maybe 2 hours worth. And my conclusion is MAYBE I can get an electric pressure washer for under $100 and invest in a high quality foam cannon, like this MJJC foam cannon pro for $70 , instead of buying a $400 pressure washer. AND typically a $400 pressure washer is going to come with WAY more PSI than I need and will blow trash cans across the street. Let me know your feedback bout this approach!

Look up foreverselfemployed he has a video on this. He says anything less than 2500 psi is preferred. I’m going to start a trash bin cleaning side hustle soon as well. How’s it going with your side hustle? Just curious

So between the Ryobi 1800 or 1900 which one do you prefer for washing cars. Like you vids. I’ve already got the spray wand and foam cannon along with the Uber flex hose. Now I’m looking for the best pressure washer for doing cars. I have a large gas pressure washer but looking for something a little more portable.
