Күн бұрынI wanted to purchase a small, convenient, easy to use, less noisy, power washer that I can use for car detailing on my driveway. Something that didn't make a lot of noise with a gas engine and was super light. I think I might have found it in this small Ryobi 1800PSI 1.2GPM unit. Sold at every Home Depot and super available.....on Amazon and The Ryobi website also!
Enjoy this unboxing and test (with my pressure washer trigger and a different Ryobi hose). The 1.7 orifice comes with the unit that will give you 1800 PSI but if you bump that up, pressure will drop (around 1K PSI) but GPM will increase. Enjoy!!

For 100 dollars just to wash your car this looks like a real winner. After adding a hose, sprayer, and foam cannon but once your set your set. Thanks for the great vid!

It’s not a bad option at all. I kind of wish it was more like 2k PSI and closer to 2gpm. But it’s acceptable for cars

Great video! I have had this unit for almost a year, bought it at Home Depot for $100, absolutely love it, highly recommend it! I did swap out the hose and trigger. it’s been flawless!

yeah, I went out to Lowes to see what they had...they had a Craftsman that was similar but about $20 more expensive.....this is a good deal as long as it lasts ....but it does have a 3 year limited warranty....and honestly , if you use a Home Depot card, you have a year to return it.....

Good video! I got one 2 weeks ago. Same items you chose not to use stayed in my box also. My test results; Orange 15 deg. nozzle= 1400PSI, 1.1 GPM. Turbo nozzle=1300PSI, 1.25GPM. All .035 orifices (from my larger gas unit) yielded 550-600PSI, 1.35 GPM. I use the stock nozzles for wheels and the .035's for the paint, and plan to get some .030 nozzles which should rinse nicely at about 700PSI.

wow. interesting. I'm playing around with the noddles and checking on PSI and GPM now with my Kranzle. Actually ai would have expected a higher PSI with the 35 nozzle. what size hose do you have ? 1/4" or 3/8"?

@@talkingwithcars 1/4" x 50' Uberflex with 3700PSI rating so I can use on my gas machine in a pinch. The pro's videos said I had to have QD fittings on both the supply and pressure hose, so I tried that on this...probably my 6th or 7th unit. That has cut setup and cleanup time nearly in half! Amazing the effect on PSI that even minor nozzle size has isn't it? I found PSI readings interesting too, and that having a pressure gauge (this my first) can be very useful.

The best feature for me is the ease of storage in winter months.Pressure washers need to be stored in warm places during sub zero temps.My garage is my living space,so I need portability for storage purposes.Thanks for the review,I subscribed,like your down to earth presentation.

Thank you so much!! I couldn’t agree more. Storage is always a slight crap shoot in the winter months and this would be easy to store inside a basement or house where it’s warmer. I suppose you could bring in the gas powered one but it’s bulkier and usually in the shed. Thx again!

I love this little unit. Coupled with a 50 ft Flexilla pressure washer hose it is just so versatile. My gut is, with the right chemicals, the average consumer could do any normal cleaning maintenance with this unit. Siding. Driveway. Will it take longer? Definitely. But do you want to have a gas unit to store and maintain? Not me.

The quick connect adapters are the standard M22...I believe 1/4" connector.....14mm thread but if you look online, there are kits that are available so your entire setup all matches. I'll send you a link.

So i purchased this washer and it wouldnt work. It turns on but turns off right after. Do i need a new garden hose that wont kink? Or maybe the water faucet i used had low pressure? I literally opened it up out the box brand new

Interesting. Without seeing your setup, it’s hard to tell. But I would start with all of the above. Make sure you have decent pressure at the hose. In general, residential water pressure ranges between 45-80 psi (pounds per square inch). If your water pressure is under 40 psi, it's considered low. I would also pay for a decent water hose. I bought this from Griots. And I’ll never turn back. www.griotsgarage.com/professional-water-hose/ Try those couple things. Lastly, maybe your Ryobi is bad. Worth swapping it out.

I don't necessarily wax my car anymore with your traditional waxes....although that is fine....what I try to do is install a decent ceramic coating on the car and then maintain it with a spray sealant (drying aid) every wash.....so you are keeping it tip top shape. If you want something that will last a lot longer, then you will pay a little more and just simply wash it every week or so with a good PH balanced shampoo....

So if I could just bring buckets with water I can use this washer for sure.

@@UwU._Sqb I read into the manual and other documentation and everything says to connect it to a garden hose and turning it on. And it noted something about the potential of ruining seals if not done correctly. Personally, I would contact Ryobi direct to see if it's ok to pull from a tank to bucket before doing it. you may need the pressure to keep things lubricated.

I typically blow dry it first with an EZGO blower...to get the majority of the water off plus to eliminate the water that's in hard to reach areas like behind lights, around trim, behind grills, etc. then you can use a drying aid like Gyeon Ceramic Detailer (spray on and wipe off) with a good drying towel....I like the one from Griot's.
