This dude is something else. All he wants to do is promote whatever he has going on , he's all about himself and that extra buck. The only products any good to him are the ones he promotes. Look around on you tube and see how many detailers use Ryobi. These pressure washers are totally fine . I've had the one In the middle going on three years with no problems. I also detail for a living and on average do about 10 cars a week. So you could imagine if added up how much money this ryobi has made me.

Glad to see I’m not the only one with a $100 pressure washer and $400 dollars worth of better accessories. The MTM nozzle calculator recommends a 2.0 for the baby Ryobi, which is what I bought but will be getting a 3.0. Thanks for all your work doing this!

It's a microcosm man. If you are willing to accept mediocrity in the one thing you spend most of your time doing (career), it will most certainly affect the people you attract and corners you are willing to cut. I'm currently try to 'soup up' my Ryobi EZ Clean. I have converted it to 1/4 quick disconnect and am gonna try it with 2.0 nozzles. I am also waiting for some foam cannon orifices to turn up, gonna try 0.8,0.9 and 1.00. It actually does quite a good job at spraying the car in stock form, but the Ryobi foam cannon is terrible.

There are cars parked in front of my garage about 2 car length away so I need to wash my car parked close to my garage if I get active 2.0. If I get Ryobi, I can wash my car at freely open car wash space area. What would you recommend???

Can someone explain something? I got this Ryobi 1800psi 1.2gpm washer and I learned you can change the nozzle so that you can play with the GPM and the psi. So i order the 3.0 mm nozzles. The stock nozzle says 15017. So i guess is 1.7mm but then when I used the 15030 i didn't see any difference in the flow but i heard the pump was being overworked it sounded just like when a car needs to shift gear... I though bigger orifice would make it work less but it sounds the opposite to me, louder and faster Why is that? and this is with all the 3.0 nozzles.

I've had Ryobi starting out, then upgraded to the Active and Active 2.0, then upward from there. I'll be honest, if it weren't for Active's amazing customer service, I'd rate them below Ryobi in simple fact that before upgrading, my Ryobi lasted 5 years without issue whereas I had to warranty my Active VE52 and VE56 three times before getting a unit that worked without issues. You don't always get what you pay for these days. Matts ego aside, Obsessed Garage still is a good source for information and I've yet to ever have to contact their customer service (or look for a phone number lol).

The difference between a hot water/steam unit and a regular unit is the seals and rings. They won't swell and contract as much which also means they don't seal as well. In my previous life, I had a commercial pressure washing company (mostly concrete cleaning and large equipment). More to the point, if the pressure doesn't take it off, warm water isn't going to help.

I find those all to be too janky to even consider. I also don't find them interesting. Also, the only reason I tested all these cheap ones is to figure out what fittings and nozzle size they need to provide a listing of support products to make them better. Those brands you mentioned sell very little, so there would be little benefit to that testing for me.

I won't be surprised that pressure washer u buy for $1000 is made by same manufacturer that sells pressure washer for $80. Just like flex polisher. U can use same battery from flex polisher with SPTA.

It would be good to see Nilfisk in the test as that's what I use along with a lot of other guys in the UK over Karcher but I guess they are a European brand and not available in the states?
