Recently had the chance to open and use the Ryobi battery operated backpack sprayer and I'm impressed! So much easier and more powerful than the pump style sprayers!
This backpack sprayer is easy to use, comes with interchangeable nozzles for cone spray and fan spray, and also comes with a variable pressure dial to allow for finer adjustments to the power of the spray!

I did the same as Jorge. I just bought one today at Home Depot but watched your video instead. I didn't know about the "Cruise Control"! Thanks for pointing that out. Appreciate your time demonstrating this to us. Kirk :)

I just recently bought one and getting ready to spray some round up.... I swapped out the nozzle for the fan spray but wasn't sure if O'ring went in before or after you install the nozzle after trial and error I final realized you have to put the nozzle in first as it was almost impossible to get it in counter wize... But your video just gave me confirmation... I don't want that stuff dripping all over while I spray...

Hi, do you think that Ryobi sprayer is a good tool to spray a roof or a house with cleaning solution or would it take too long.

I purchased one today at Home Depot. I filled it up with 4 gallons of liquid and it worked great until I got to about 1/2 gallon left. It barely had any pressure and the liquid wasn't coming out as strong as before when the canister was full. Do you have this issue as well?

The hose that connects to backpack cracked. It cracked and is leaking at the end. I think I can can just cut it and replace. Is there a video that shows how to take that area apart

I dont need the backpack one its too expensive and big for my needs but I do need the fan spray nozzle. DO you know if this can fit the wand on the smaller 7.5 litre sprayer?

They just came out with a new model and it's supposed to be way better for the same price so I would exchange it because it doesn't have the hose in the tank. It makes sure that there's no remaining liquid left when you spray and the battery is recessed now and it doesn't stick out.

Shouldn't the shoulder pads go over the shoulders? I purchased this sprayer over the weekend and sprayed about six tanks of weed killer. The tops of my shoulders were sore from lack of padding. The only way to get the padding to cover the shoulders was to lower the tank further down my back, which was uncomfortable.

@@phidip2328 it felt like it. I had a lot of grass to treat and I used Spectracide Weed Stop with Crabgrass Killer that has a 6.4 oz/1000 SF coverage rate.

I had the exact same thought when i saw him put it on. The pads are in the wrong spot. Terrible design on the straps i reckon. Especially for the premium price tag.

Would you recommend this sprayer for a 18000sq-ft yard, or should I consider a bigger system like the flowzone 9gal wheeled system?

@@phillipklaiber3986 Been over a year, but I did purchase the flowzone 9gal sprayer. Less stopping to refill. I'm still trying to calibrate the pump's spray pressure vs how fast I need to walk though 🙂. I only need to use it 2 to 3 times a bermuda growing season when I apply PGR.

I am also curious about the answer to this question, can't seem to find it anywhere! Looking to spray the canopy of trees (I know this isn't the ideal tool for that job, but if it could work ok I'd go for it.)

Yes I did! The hose messed up on both my units. I got replacement parts for it
