You should do one on story that happen in”Nam” where a pilot was flying a helicopter not armed because he was carrying a pastor (?) and got a call from a squadron was trapped and taking fire by the North. He dropped the pastor at a base, and flew to LZ. When he got to the place, a huge fire fight was going on. Not only that , the troops way he had to rescue were in dense plant growth. He went in to land. The blades where cutting down the plants. He landed the helicopter, got some men, flew to the base. He did this many times way pass the sun down. After the last run back at base. Some officers and crew inspected the helicopter and saw that he had no more fuel, the body of the chopper was covered in bullets, and his blades were scratched to the inside honeycomb structure. His officers were not proud of what did and should have let someone do it instead.

Great video. Beautiful camera angles and really well flown, some great skills on display. I'm watching this a year down the line and ECW helo game play has developed quite a lot with multiple drops of troops and flares rather than smoke-marking CSAR. Despite that, this is a real lesson on operating the Huey, having a flight plan, selecting approach routes, maintaining appropriate height, and speed, hovering where appropriate for pick ups and landing on where hover is not a great option. Great video.

Hi, I've watched a few of your videos. Good content. How do you get the replays to work on multiplayer? Or do they just working with the Huey and Mi-8? I once tried a replay with the A-4E community mod on a different server but it did not work.

just watched a few of your vids and while ive had dcs for a long time ive never gone deep into helos or multiplayer. I was a Huey door gunner in the marines and now i really want to hone my skills in this module because of this video. hopefully i can build up my skillset and come flying with you sometime. i was wondering if you use a collective or a regular hotas for your helo flying? awesome content and thank you for showing us the ropes both successes and failures.
