Been plying 2.0 from the beginning but never played 1.0 (wow). The ARR still gives me goosebumps and still playing to this day.

After looking through character creation on the benchmark, I like to think it’s also a chance to feel like my character has aged some because of the slight changes

I gotta say... this brought all the feels back watching all the cinematics again. Didn't think I would get so emotional again, but here I am.... crying all over again. I don't think I have laughed, cried and screamed at my computer as much as I have at ANY game I have ever played than this one.

Right? I've cried so many times. And I've gone from detesting a character to absolutely adoring them multiple times. The amount of development the NPCs in this game get is astonishing. I've played a lot of games in my time, and nothing has hooked me as hard as this.

First time seeing all but the ARR cinematic of these for the first time. Can't watch the last one yet cause I'm in Shadowbringers but these were great and so damn cool. Thanks for the good quality

He doesn't age he just got a beard, cuz through ARR until endwalker all take place in a single year, before u say that impossible that certainly possible there is a lot of games where so much happens in only a month, and plus the event in shadowbringers only hours in the source

That's still stupid as hell, it's a shit reasoning they've given to not age up in size the twins cuz of their looks. It's impossible for ARR, HW, SB and Endwalker to happen in a year. Shadowbringers being a month would be feasible

@@john_7000 At the very list there is a line in Stormblood that states that the events before Heavensward happened about one year before the events of Stormblood Without remembering right now exactly which one: In one quest of the lvl 60 to 70 of ninja or Samurai it is stated that the rebellion where Hien's father died happened a year ago (This rebellion took place when the first Garlean emperor died (Post A Realm Reborn content) making the Samurai to rise in rebelion and after defeat up to Hien's exile in the nomad steppes)

@@nararanaraiii2022well it’s not just the twins who’d have to age up, it’s everyone! The story is in a “time bubble” that currently is within the same year, it’s why dalamud is still 5 years ago. It’s literally the same as the simpsons being the same age for decades.

@@StelFury Hella dumb, what difference would it make thancred being 32 or 37 lmao. I still believe thew whole reason is cuz they dont want to risk redesigning the twins and everyone hating it. Cuz everyone else wouldnt need to change xD at least most people

I've only been playing FF14 since mid-February. The scene of the Cataclysm will never not terrify me and make me emotional. The FF14 team did such a fantastic job of portraying just how horrific that scenario was, and the bravery and conviction of Louisoix and the other Scions. No video game cinematic has ever had this effect on me. What an incredible game this is.

Showing mom this tonite. I Been explaining each expansion as tv series xD but the consept kinda brakes down when trying to explain why 1.0 shut down/failed 😅 maby I shoud have described it as a 30 year old bad movie and arr and onward the TV series adaptation 😅

Whats hilarious is that it hasn't even been a year (since Alphinaud/Alisae are still the same age etc). So like, 2.0 to 7.0. dude did that transformation in MONTHS. You would not look at the guy from 2.0 and think he's the guy from 7.0 with only a YEAR max in-between xD

Finally a cinematic compalation that doesn't include Flames of Truth. I always hated that as a trailer. Its a great moment in game but spoils the Realm Reborn feeling in my opinion.

think has to do with Elezen: They are 16 years old, thus not fully grown. They will grow as they age. Due to the long lifespan of Elezen they grow more slowly compared to the other races. I believe its stated that once an Elezen is 20 they should be at their max height. But i hope at some point they let them age with their models.

WoW and FFXIV cinemtaics are about the same, comparing them to eachother when they each came out of course. Some of these in the montage above are like 10 years old. Why are you here?

@@pogmaster6009 i havent played WoW for years now (apart from diping into DF once) and i wont go back to it as for me that book is closed. nevertheless i do think that the latest one was good. topic wise it was more of a silent emotional level und graphic wise it was incredible in terms of detail . i still think if Blizzard can do anything right its Cinematics. But thats my personal opinion.
