This is outrageously helpful, thank you. I'm sure you'll get a load more views now that people are looking to understand this at home when replacing their controllers with smart versions. For example needing to remove the wired room stat.

You little beauty. As an Electrician, I have stayed away from heating because I have a fear of it, but you have made this so much more simple to understand, that I actually want to attempt to fix it ;)

Why would the orange return wire only show 120 volts at the boiler end when valve is activated and boiler will not fire up?

Hi mate, you got a great calm way of explaining things, cheers for that. Question? Why are these teaching boards showing a pump as a separate entity from the boiler? Isn’t the pump inside the boiler or are these older system layouts and the pump is external, therefore needs to be wired in? Thanks in advance.
@woobRobbo7 ай бұрын
A combi will have the pump internal to the boiler but an external pump or "circulator" is common for the heating side on s-plan I believe.

S wiring plan hahahaha funny where people makeup their ignorance names. There is correct wiring and there is a useless mess. Thats wiring.

@@boilerstobathrooms6267 i think now you proved you want to know electrical, there is electrical coarses you can take, electrical engineering, motor control and relay logic is a super coarse for all electrians , electronics a great cosrse to add with electrical engineering that is a total of 5 -7 years . Then after complete this get at least 2 years experience and take the journyman electrian test in the city for a electrician licence. Then after 2 years expeirence again getting permits and examined take the state test with bonding insurance, to be a master electrician. This is what i did and began my own company for years as tex and spencer electric then after years i accepted a job with kbr working war zones called electric 1 on cb over all electricians of 400 military bases . After that i retired im now 63 nearly 64.
