The zone has some characteristics of an alive creature, I think it is kinda responsible for the destruction of c-contiousness since it gave scar the power of surviving emissions temporarily and disrupted strelok's death truck, I believe that the zone doesn't want to be controlled.

So before 2006, there were no emissions, so the noosphere did not accumulate this energy that needed to be dissipated. But then the C-Consciousness messed with it and now it does. I wonder if the emissions in Clear Sky were not just more frequent, but also stronger, because the C-Consciousness would know how to feed more energy into the noosphere wound.

I always wondered if the actual blowout is a physical manifestation or if its all in stalkers minds. I mean a blowout with that much force would make the surrounding areas look like Tunguska.

Its crazy how this game is actually way more interesting and actually insanely better than both books stalker and the picnic . Both those books are so piss poor made and the movie stalker was trash and boring. But this game explains everything and makes it interesting. So sad that the russiabs who made rhe stalker movie died from radiation poiisoning. What a waste of kife maing a horrible movie that literally copied directly american sci fi movies made 20 years prior. Earth stood still is one blatabtky obvious stolen idea for stalker. Theb the book the sphere. Which was literallt written in the 60's but published the 80's.
