When I carry a revolver at the range, people think they’re awesome. I know a tactical guy, and his first response years ago was “That’s great for contact shots!” 👍💥

I have all 3 of these. They are my most carried revolvers. Like you said the 340pd is just too easy to carry for it to be left behind.

I carry the M&P340. It's like the 340PD except it has a steel cylinder instead of the titanium cylinder. It also has a different standard front sight (bit dot night sight). It's definitely a go everywhere gun. Well, except where metal detectors are involved.

Great topic. I've always personally thought, a handgun is of no use to me if I can't comfortably conceal & carry it. It's nice to have options that allow both, yet still are potent fight stoppers. 👍👍

I carry my 637 performance center almost every day in the hot summer months it’s like nothing there but for the rest of year I mostly carry my gp100 7 shot in a Lobo enhanced pancake. It’s heavy but the lobo holster mitigates the weight

I’m a 1911 kinda guy, specifically in 10MM & .45 but my constant companion no matter what is my 329PD with VZ smooth sanded smooth grips and soon to have aftermarket sights

Totally agree with you! The wheel gun is hard to beat. Especially in the J frame size. They are extremely comfortable to carry.

i miss having a j frame. i had a model 60 a while back that shot 38s like a dream. i also had an airweight 38 that i liked a little bit less at the range but it carried SO EASILY.

My normal EDC is a Glock 33, but I have on occasion carried an LCR. Going from the revolver back to a polymer auto makes you realize just how lightweight the LCR is in comparison to the Glock

i think those are all excellent choices. i have the 327pc and the 329pd. i have the smith and wesson 360pd which is similar to the 340 but it has the exposed hammer. i also use that same crimson trace grip. it takes the recoil rather well.

Been carrying a six shot .357 snub nose for the last two years and agree, I never have an excuse as to why I go out and don't have it on me. Very comfortable to carry and never feel like I "need more firepower" . That's just nonsense.

I just bought a 329pd a couple weeks ago. It's a little brutal but it is so light compared to my Taurus 44 Magnum.

Underwood had the 190gr LSWCHP .44 spcl. Excellent load. Probably the best .44 spcl for power. A good night load The only Glocks I have are the ones in 10mm. Underwood XTP 155gr 10mm loads . And I do own every Glock 10mm flavor they make. As for revolvers. There are a few advantages. #1- Perception in court. Like it or not, your enemies serve on juries. To them it's a "cowboy's gun". Use that to your advantage. It's like that with the color pink .It's a man's color,yet most think it's a girl's color. Weaponize that perception to your advantage. #2-Barrel press into a chest. #3- Power per shot. ( Choose the 158gr +P LSWCHP .38 spcl) #4- Gross manual of arms. #5- Easy to show others how to use. And casings don't get ejected everywhere.

I have a 340 M&P 357 mag. My allways firearm. 140 grain penetrators for hiking, 125,158, for everything else.

that is not a 340,pd, .... a 340pd has a hammer and the entire gun is silver color.....

I wish the 329 PD had a 3" barrel instead, it wouldn't harm the concealability very much at all.
