If you smear the carbon grip grease inside the seat tube first, instead of over the post, it won't sploodge out all over Peter Sagan's beautiful Tarmac.

@@djdelarosa25 Use your finger to coat the inside of the seat tube, not the post. Lube the Frame, not the post. No excess grease. And that's where you want it, in the frame, not all over Peter Sagan's beautiful Tarmac. Trust me. Built literally thousands of bicycles.

Specialized build must be "dry builds". Without grease or paste. That is stated everywhere on their bikes

I am the only one seeing he is using the torque wrench wrong. it is important to hold it properly to get the right torque right?

You are correct. Holding it closer to the fulcrum produces much greater torque, he has over tightened the bolts.

Yep real sweet colour. The green 👀👀's very similar 2 the Atheos green. Maybe Specialized can reach out & let us all know. To Duranrider on KZfaq. Sagan had some input in2 this Frame & Bike Combo. Do u really think that he & Specialized wouldn't do everything possible 2 get the weight 2 the UCI limit of 6.8kls in a 54/56 bike. And if he wanted rim brakes dont u think Specialized would listen 2 him. Aussie Fan of Specialized Road Bikes.. & Disk Brakes 👌👍🚴🏼♂️🚴🏼♂️

Please hold the torque wrench by the handle. Holding it closer to the bolt means you are over tightening the bolt.
