I am European (south) living in Canada...traveled to Brasil and like people and their expression and sincerity a lot! I never adjusted to Canadian way of life especially in social relations terms. I am teaching my kids (who are born here in Canada) about different cultures and values as they might move around the world once they get older. Brasil and brasilians are in my hearth forever!

It might be a personal preference of hers, but saying that every Brazilian woman will throw themselves at white men with blue eyes sounds a bit weird to me. Brazil is extremely diverse and people with caucasian features are not a novelty.

@Alimac tudo bem? Claro que a maioria dos brasileiros tem olhos e cabelos escuros, mas isso não é uma exclusividade brasileira. Isso é comum no mundo inteiro. Não tem problema nenhum se você particularmente, ou a maioria das pessoas que você conhece preferem homens com olhos azuis. Mas como eu disse, é só uma preferência. Eu só quis comentar que acho levemente problemático afirmar que "toda mulher brasileira é apaixonada por homens brancos de olhos azuis" porque legitima o comportamento de certos gringos babacas (alguns brasileiros também) que acham que podem tratar as brasileiras como objetos só porque são caucasianos. Não quero ofender ninguém, só queria compartilhar minha opinião mesmo porque já passei por isso. :)

Eu perguntei se ele achava que as mulheres daqui iriam se jogar em cima dele, e ele sinceramente ficou confuso quando falei que muitos brasileiros também são loiros de olhos azuis e isso não basta, você tem que ser civilizado também.

I'm brazilian and I can confirm this. It's casual in a sense. As a men I'll get my hair and beard trimmered, gave myself THE bath and use a good perfum. But I'm not dressed like I'm going to the evening of my life. Just use nice clothes and go to a bar with a nice band playing, something good to drink and then talking, flirtting...that's the social norm in most cases. From our perspective let things more informal helps to build intimacy...and that's why we do that way...

I went to Brazil a few months ago and you would be amazed the amount of stares you get when you start speaking English out loud 😂 I’ve travelled to different parts of Brazil and I don’t think you can really generalise what preferences Brazilian women have. I’ve been told some like white blue eyed men and some like ‘morena’ brown eyed men etc. it’s all individual preference

I am a Hispanic South American, not Brazilian, and as soon I heard the girl on the right was from Curitiba, I foresaw how she was going to react for the simple reason that, being from Paraná, she's probably of Italian or German descent (and maybe both). It's funny how I left Brazil when I was 10, I haven't been around Brazilians for over a decade and I feel like I fit in for the most part. The only difference is the touching thing when I don't know someone, but when I'm with them, it's definitely how described in the video.

I could see a really nice plot twist there with the parallel story of one telling about a guy who grabbed her hair and the next scene the Brazilian dude explaining how his friends grabbed a girl's hair in the nightclub 😂😂

I had an American classmate that was considered dangerous because he said a cute thing in French to a stranger! I thought it was romantic but all the other girls got scared of him. He got a terrible reputation after that. But... my ex-husband was Brazilian too.

Guess you weren't lucky...Once a lady from Germany that I used to date (it was some PRETTY WILD dates LOL) asked me to go live (and marry) with her in Germany (she even said I wouldn't have to work...she would provide for both of us LOL). But I rejected because I have a good job here (one that secures you for life) and it was a crazy idea.

In São Paulo the Gay dating and affection in the streets are super common, specially in the main turistic places, is almost overwhelming haha, like, Brazilians show more public affection in general, and a lot of gay guys do even more to show proudly theirs affection.. There's still some homofobic people that will not like, but they don't do anything about, at most keep looking and disapproving, but they are the minority, the majority have no problem.. São Paulo have the biggest Pride parade in the world, the city is really diverse and inclusive, a lot of things and parties for the LGBT community too..

I would suggest the city of São Paulo, 'cause it's a cosmopolitan, diverse, multicultural and multiracial city. Also, it has the largest LGBTQIA+ parade in the world (5+ million people). According to the Grindr app, it's the best parade in the world. You will see a lot of LGBT couples in the streets of São Paulo. It's considered the best city for LGBT people in Latin America and the 35th in the world. The city also houses the Museum of Sexual Diversity, the first in Latin America related to the LGBT theme.

Being from Curitiba, as the girl on the right, it's really clear she's from there since she didn't talk as much. Either that, or she didn't want to contradict the others by admitting the part of "showing interest is made clear", because my friend, in Curitiba it's fucking not lol I really should have travelled more around Brazil before coming to Germany, so I could experience what everyone is talking about and I've never seen happening around me hahaha how the girl in the middle of the boys described the Canadians is partly true in my hometown as well.

When I was in Brazil for holidays. I walked past 2 older women and they stopped talking and they started staring at me. One of them asked me for a coffee and I accepted. She was a kind woman with 3 kids. When I went to pick her I prefer a coffee and she giggled. As we were eating, the singer called all the duos on the stage. She literally threw me in and joined. I was 20 and she was 38. I told her that I wanna leave. When we got home she asked me to walk her to her door. Suddenly, she kissed me and said " Remember boy, Love is pain!" The door opened and her friend dragged me in 😭
