The S24 Ultra and S24 Plus have different CPUs in Europe - the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Exynos 2400 - but which is faster when it comes to operating on your phone? Let's put them up against last year's S23 Ultra (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) and 2022's S22 Ultra with its Exynos 2200.
This is not a scientific test - don't take it too seriously it's just a bit of fun!

It would be interesting to redo the test, because certain applications were not well configured on the S24+. It is also interesting to see the battery consumption.

@AndroidAddicts They don't optimise cod for exynos like the snapdragon. The s22 ultra still doesn't have the ultra frame rate option whereas the 8 gen 1 does... even the 870 has ultra

Great video! Could you maybe do a camera comparison with the s24 ultra,s23 ultra and the s22 ultra. Maybe like a daytime, night time, 8k video and zoom or something please 🙏🏻

This is certainly the first generation without serious errors related to exynos

the problems are slightly smaller, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. First of all, for demanding tasks, the exynos needs 20% more energy, which means that the battery discharges faster and the temperature is higher than on the snapdragon. Samsung's lithography process is still much worse than TSMC's. on my channel I show scrolling lag, and on the TUBA channel in a live the guest overheated his S24 exynos 2400 while playing COD. Yes, he was streaming the game at the same time, but he did it in a cool room, the phone was without a case and he was not holding it in his hands, so it was well cooled. In the summer, if it's warm and there's still a case, you can forget about long gaming sessions, 8K or 4K 60Hz video recording, or movie rendering.

@@Kuternoga-vv1nr what makes you blame the 2400 and not the xlipse 940 GPU? I mean most of my issues in gaming on the Exynos happen only in games that actually use the GPU. Most mobile games run 90% off the CPU and i have no issue using it in games that have low GPU load under 33% But anything over that and its absolutely worse than a 600AUD phone. Hell my K50 runs games better than this so IMO the chip is fine. Its judt the xlipsy 940 cant keep up eith thr Adreno 750

Hello, I have an s22 ultra when I use it to do demanding tasks I quickly reach 42, 43 degrees do you think it's a fault on mine or is it Samsung's fault? Does this reduce the lifespan of the smartphone? Thank you !

I think that's pretty OK for the S22 Ultra - especially if it's the Exynos variant. It'll also depend on your environment temperature too don't forget.

S24+ with Exynos 2400 has very large lags when scrolling through content. I show it on my channel. I returned the S24+ and bought something that runs quickly and smoothly.
