She is one of, if not the first local Jamaican KZfaqr. She is always one of the top makeup artist, a mother to two amazing sons, singer and entrepreneur; non other than “Lyric Rochester”
Today we will talk to her about the ups and downs of her career, her journey from being a regular makeup artist to being dubbed as transformation queen, her public marriage and infidelities that destroyed it- how she’s finding life after all the adversities being thrown her way.

Im happy she got out of that with her sanity and being able to speak her story because, often times its stories like these that are never told and the victims get shunned into obscurity. Lyric KZfaq platform anu no joke. I watched her from the beginning, she trend so many times on Facebook because she has adult acne, scars etc. and her videos were extreme transformations. She even gave Petite Sue her first makeup collab on KZfaq. She pioneer the youtube thing, not just in Jamaica but abroad. It gave her the visa to travel and meet some of these big youtubers unu still a watch etc. I don't blame her for not being passionate about it anymore though. KZfaq really changed.

You’re VERY good at this! The atmosphere was really good. The care. It’s triggering now to watch tbh. I’m no longer as angry and ashamed as I was, now, it’s just unfortunate. Unfortunate that some of can’t leave, they’ll kill us. We can’t leave cause he’s alienated us. We can’t leave cause we have nowhere else to live. Some of us can’t leave 😔. And we’re losing ourselves, our mental health is deteriorating, our harmones unbalanced, weight fluctuating, hair loss sigh smh.

Not all men . It is especially important that mothers who are bringing up future men let their sons know this otherwise they will grow up believing that this type of behaviour is innate so it’s natural and they have no control when it comes to behaving this way. As parents we play a crucial role in preparing our children for their adult life. As mother’s we show our boys what type of behaviour a woman will except from the man in her life. If we except a man that cheats, don’t provide or take any responsibility for their family and we keep taking him back what do we think we’re teaching our son .Even if he grows up witnessing the pain and suffering his father caused his mother . He will also learn that men don’t need to have any accounting for their behaviour no matter what they do they will always be forgiven and welcome back into the household. As I stated before we play a role in preparing our sons to become men and fathers. Furthermore Lyrics story showed us that her betrayal wasn’t solely based on the male gender as one of biggest enemy was her so call best friend (a woman). Evil has no concrete description it can come in any form.

Jermaine was angry that he was married & wanted to be with the Pastor's daughter & he took his temper tantrum out on Lyric.
