The body, believed to be that of six-year-old Junior Mabandla, has been found in a grave near Pienaar, Mpumalanga.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested following the grim discovery Wednesday night.
The little boy was last seen by his family, when he was apparently on his way to buy sweets at a nearby shop.
SABC News Reporter Tumelo Machogo is tracking the story and joins us from Pienaar in Mpumalanga.

I blame the SABC, you can't send a reporter like this one to such a sensitive story like this. He is so distracting because of how terrible he is. It takes away from the story because he can't form one clear sentence like a reporter should. I feel like they just took someone and said act like a reporter. 🤦🏽‍♀️

5 questions at the same time my guy? 😭🤦🏽‍♀️😭 why??? Do we really not have trained reporters in this country? People who can speak clearly and fluently? This feels like a violation of our constitutional rights😭😭😭 that time SABC is still forcing it with the tv licence yet this is what we have to ENDURE! 🤦🏽‍♀️

How did the father of the girl befriend this monster? Something is fishy here, a devil can't hide his behaviour for long...so the father of the child should have felt or realised a strange behavior with this devil Does the suspect have parents? Siblings?

I feel you girl. Same vibes. Very painful story but some of us are not shy of the graphics. I hope TCSA will cover this one day. With clarity and detail.
