When I said that he is never lip sync not because I am biased but I have two reasons to believe so. Firstly, I have watched many vocal and singers reactors from USA to many countries in Europe tried to analyze Dimash and seeing whether he is lip sync or not, and none of them can confirm otherwise because they can watch the lip and mouth shape whether it matches the sound he made or not. All of them confirmed that he is unparalleled - to put it simply . Secondly, I have watched many of his practicing for any performance he has to perform even for one song , like at Miss World 2018 , where he sang “ Unforgettable Day”,Screaming Idol hit , his music video of this song, even when he had to perform “ Olimpico “ at the opening of second European Olympic Game at Minsk in 2019, just to name a few. It’s not on his channel but various fancams.Even at New Wave 2019 , he practiced a lot. And it’s fun to watch him . To be he is just a boy . I can go on for many performances he had done. I just wanted to give credit where it’s due, not taking sides. I respect other people opinion but I can logically, sensibly come to my own conclusion and there is no hard feelings for whatever been said in various comments. You should watch various videos of pre performance of Dimash, if you find any , it’s not only fun but you will see how much effort he undertakes to perform , even for one song! “ Olimpico “ he practiced twice in the afternoon and night a day before the opening of the Game. But before the opening ceremony he looked calm and still chatting and singing the song that other people are singing before he was escorted to go up to the arch podium. Sorry to write so lengthy but do you know that Dimash never “ hang out “ before his performance because he is always in his hotel room watching his previous performance, if any , and he is very critical of himself. But if it is a new song then he will keep on practicing, so he never goes out to places like his musicians, his parents and siblings , etc. Now you may ask how I knew this because I like watch various interviews and off stage performance , etc . I hope that you would not mind reading long comment. 😘

Hi again. I forgot to mention. He does a song with Andrea Bocelli on the piano. There is a clip of it on KZfaq. It is brilliant! Have a look at my comment from yesterday about his interview - must watch it!

Dimash has always been adamant about not lip syncing when his fans pay to hear him sing live. But recently he has explained that in some rare occasions, such as this one, he has been told to lip sync for the program. He is so honest in wanting to give his fans their money's worth. Great reaction to 2 very different versions of Screaming. BTW, he raps in Kazakh. (Patricia, Jerry's wife)

In the Screaming MV, Dimash does the vocal, the back-up vocal, the piano, and the drum. In the Idol Hits he surprised us with a rap. FYI, the message of his rap is to respect the elders.

Chinese TV mixed the audio track of the MV over the video, so we don't hear what the crowd at the fashion show got to hear. The song was arranged to accomodate for that. You can clearly hear the switch in tone quality from his first couple of notes taken from the live audio to the actual song.

What he has done in a few venues prior to this is prerecorded the backtracking so that on stsge he is singing and then his own voice pre recorded is his backup.

Who cares if it's playback or not? It's usually up to the show's organizers anyway. We all know Dimash's capabilities, he doesn't need to prove anything to us. His best Screaming versions with insane improvisations and audience interactions which are almost half an hour long are at his solo concerts anyway, these prerecorded versions pale in comparison.

I live this! His english is improving over time. Love the way he interacts with audience, very smart. One of the things I really love about him is that it is obvious that he has such joy in the music and in his own vocal accomplishment and that joy translates to us. There’ was a portion that have playback but he sings live. There was a clip of him in rehearsal where he had been playful.

Dear Sabina-- definitely he is singing but had his song played back as well because he can’t sing two parts at one time like in music video. So in the performance he did the whistle and staccatos as in his music video. He had similar performance in Universal Show in China. It’s the same show you had reacted his song “ let it be” translated from his Kazakh into Mandarin. You should react to his another two songs plus a short one with one of American lady who sat on that table. She is a lovely lady and wanted to sing with Dimash . It’s fun to watch , believe me. By the way Dimash never lip sync but to have his music played back when he had to sing different part, that is understandable. May I suggest that you should react to his “ autumn strong “ at his Kiev, Ukraine Arnau concert this year on March 11. Take care 💕

Fangirling a little bit :-D I really love this side of Dimash, he can really transform to any character according to the song he's singing. This song is the ending song of the Arnau concert, he improvises and makes a fun and exciting end to the concert! The rap part is in Kazakh, not Chinese. In the second video, there are so many beautiful women on the stage but he still draws all the attention :-)

Not the first time I’ve heard the song, but the first time I’ve seen the rap portion not being cut. Love when he improvises - especially over his own recorded vocals. Congrats on 20K subs Sabina 🌟 😃. The first Idol Hits version is great seeing his more fun side and interacting with his Dears. The second version matching the great MV is impossible to sing live because he’s vocalising against his alter ego for part of the meaning of the song. The cross mix in this live performance is technically and skilfully brilliant as he’s singing against himself on a backing track, but not in the same arrangement as you see/hear in the MV taking the hardest route for the live vocals with the melody and staccato and runs. Fabulous 🤩 ! Like you say, it’s Dimash - he’s proven and it doesn’t really matter ! Suggestion: Lara Fabian in French or English singing Demain n’existe pas ( which they’ve chosen to call Tomorrow is a Lie in English ) vs Diana Ankudinova’s version which Lara & Igor passed to her (Igor’s on the piano in Diana’s version of course !) .. no wonder he’s so wealthy, talented maestro and progressing his New Wave.Thanks ladies as always 🙏 and 30K’s on the way 😃
