Let's get real. The quality of striking in the first 20 mins is way better than the majority of WTA matches in their entirety

Venus here really reminds me of 2017 Wimbledon with her ball striking and appearance. Had she won this match, I really think she could have the title.

It seems like a recurring theme in women's tennis that the best matches of the tournament happen in the first week of Slams, probably because top players keep falling in and out of the top ten and have to meet early. By the end we're more often than not left with finals like Kvitova vs Bouchard instead of blockbusters such as this one.
