It's like the show was fighting itself every time it introduced a new love interest for Sabrina. She goes back to Harvey every time....How was Josh ever viable after this? They had to break up offscreen just for Josh later and then Aaron to be plausible.

True, but they're also heavily pushing that "true love with the first guy she falls for in High School" trope. Sure, their romance is sweet, but I still think she should've given that hot half-wizard Dashiell Calzone more of a chance. I know these witch shows are centered around the witches hiding their witchcraft, but it's a shame how repressed they are. If she doesn't play the field a bit, she might always wonder what could've been if she hadn't settled for the first guy. However, yeah, the new love interests are mostly just used to throw drama into the show for drama sake.

@@hotlavatube Dashell wasn't all that great. He kept popping into Sabrina's life without her permission, which is dangerous in the mortal realm. He called Harvey "unimaginative." She had no need of him

@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl I guess I have a thing for the bad boys. But in his defense, Harvey is pretty dull and unimaginative. Harvey is portrayed as not the sharpest tool in the shed, but with a good heart. Sadly, he mostly just goes along and gets whipped around by Sabrina, falling victim to her shenanigans and just puts up with it or ignores it. It comes off as him either being love-whipped or just not smart, which does him a disservice. However, there were a few funny parts where he said it's better to ignore the weird stuff that happens around Sabrina, which is probably safer for him. So maybe he's not so dumb after all. ;-)

2:19 Sabrina's lucky Harvey didn't know what that meant. It meant that she wanted to marry a male witch and have an "Other realm" wedding when she was older. It meant she didn't ever want to marry Harvey. She couldn't have possibly meant that she wanted an "Other realm" wedding with Harvey. Brad shouldn't have made assumptions about what Sabrina was doing based on the magazines in her locker and what his brother did. Sabrina is not like his brother and the wedding that she was planning was for Salem's daughter, not herself (she was named maid of honor after she was the one who mended the relationship between Salem and his daughter, which had been broken after he abandoned her in favor of a failed attempt at world domination. She didn't even know he was a cat until Sabrina told her.). Marnie shouldn't have relied on him for information and Josh shouldn't have relied on her.

@@handlenot030 Yes I do. I saw the full episode. The tree thing happened at Salem's daughter's wedding and is apparently a regular wedding tradition in the other realm. It certainly is not a tradition in the mortal realm. Therefore, Sabrina implied that she wanted her wedding to be in the other realm... presumably to another witch
