In this week's video, we show you how to brew a hazy pale ale on the Brewzilla (Robobrew). We use the new Sabro hops in a 3:1 ratio with Mosaic, fermenting under pressure using kveik yeast in the Fermzilla and then kegging to produce a delicious 5% hazy hoppy pale ale.

Nice video. Thanks. Just got my 35l brewzilla for fathers day. So I'm researching all things brewing atm. Always good to see hows its done with the machine I've got. Still yet to buy the rest of my keg setup. Can't wait to start brewing.

Thats awesome! Having a kegging setup at home is a total game changer. There is a brewing Channel on KZfaq called the homebrew network I basically learnt everything off his videos. I highly reccomend checking them out, and we will be releasing a lot more brewing content over the coming weeks

Great video. Worth the extra work to do a grain 2 glass. Lovely looking beer. I'm just fermenting a small batch Sabro SMaSH at the moment. Hoping to get the coconut shining through. Cheers 🍻

Looks pretty tasty! How do you keep thr Sabro tasting coconutty? I've heard that in large quantities it can taste more cedar-y. I've got a pound of it and don't want to mess it up.

Good question, I have used it 3 times now without the woody taste but I have always split with another hop. I reckon using just over half a pound in the boil / dry hop will give you good flavours without the wood.

Good video, use the same equipment a very similar process. Just wondering why you are using a nylon bag inside the mash tun?

Hey thanks :) I found that I was getting too much grains escaping my hop basket and making their way to the bottom of the vessel. Which produces tannins when boiling grain so to avoid this I use the bag which catches all the rouge grains.

@@jackeladventures1419 After you did the Mashout, you lifted the malt pipe up and placed it on the hooks for sparging. What did you do with the nylon bag? You said that it trapped the powder from the crush as well, where did you get the grain bag and how difficult was it to clean the bag? Lastly, did you use both the fine mesh filter along with the bottom filter in the malt pipe? Cheers!

Hi mate, the program is called beersmith 3. Can be a bit clunky to use, I find most people use brewfather now.
