The Kings are not a strong defensive team in the backcourt Devin Carter just solved that. A lot of people are on the move especially Huerter and Barnes. Get another defensive presence in the frontcourt and it's A grade off-season for our hometown team

This tells me that Davion is most likely gone. The problem with Davion is obviously not defense but he struggles to find his rhythm within our offense. He finds success in isolation but not consistent enough to rely on real bench points. Carter likely takes on the back up PG role to start and possibly have Keon starting.

Those of you expecting a big name trade are going to be disappointed. Monte only has the 2028 and 2030 pick to work with and he is not going to move draft picks that far in advance. Not conveying the pick owed to ATL this year really limited his options.

Devin Carter makes a lot of sense given our weakness defending the perimeter. Just days ago, we were doggedly pursuing a deal to pick up Alex Caruso, and I didn't hear complaints about Caruso's size, length, or position - and Carter's got the same position, he's about an inch off on size, and his wingspan's greater than 3 inches longer. All the scouting reports talk about Devin Carter's defensive ability and potential, and he has all the physical tools.

C+ draft pick. He's a good player. But they should have drafted Dalton Knecht, or trade down and get Terrance Shannon Jr. Bith playets would have played a better role for the Kings.

After watching highlights of him, he is a really great pick. I see Mitchell and huerter, maybe Barnes getting traded

Devin Carter is a good defender but he is not tall. This was a big risk for the kings. I was hoping they can get Holland and Williams but they were gone too early.

The narrative that Mike Brown improved the defense to top 15 is still laughable propaganda to me. I mean they were literally stuck at around 23rd defense while MB was DNP'ing Keon Ellis about 15 of the 20 games leading up to the allstar break - then Keon Ellis got a consistent role and suddenly the team catapults to #14 with Keon playing big minutes. Does anyone actually believe they would've finished even top 20 if not for MB being forced to play Keon Ellis big minutes...? 🤔

They drafted Carter because they wanted Alex Caruso who slipped away. So a real backup for Fox. They can trade huerter, HB, even Davion and future picks for a big swing for a 3d/wing or forward...or a center. Although davion showed real improvement the last 2 months of the season.
