My first Skins video! I have two other videos I've been working on,but this idea of using mainly voiceovers took hold of me and I whipped this video out.
Cook is pretty much my favorite S3 Skins character and also,one of my top three favorite Skins characters of both casts.This video is basically my response to the people who don't understand him and just see him one dimensionally.Cook is one of the most interesting characters,in my opinion,and this video just shows the deeper levels to him - his vulnerability and the fears he suppresses - as well as his relationships with Freddie,JJ,Effy,and his father.
I'm pretty proud of most of the voiceovers but the one of Thomas/Cook is so shotty that I couldn't really do much with it because I'm not a pro at audio control :)

You are BRILLIANT. I mean that in all seriousness. I've been waiting for a video like this. One that would show the REAL Cook, and not the Cook that hides behind this tough exterior all the time. Really, he's so broken inside...it makes my heart ache. He's such a fascinating character...and definetely my favourite in the third season. You've done this all so BEAUTIFULLY. The editing with the quotes were genius. And I admit, you made me tear up a little. I LOVE Cook AND this video :)

Cook is my favorite character in the 2nd generation. It's the only character I get emotional with. Cook episode in the 4th season was really good =)

I use Final Cut Express.The vid program pickings for a mac are slim pickings,as I discovered this year when I switched from a PC to a macbook.Ultimately,I downloaded Adobe Premiere,used that for 30 days,and then spent the money to get Final Cut Express.
