I had preeclampsia with all three of my kids. My middle pregnancy was the worst. They had to deliver my son by emergency C-section at 34 weeks. He was 3-1/2 pounds. He's now 22 years old and 180 pounds, so everything turned out. But it was scary for the first few weeks with him being in the NICU. Take care of yourself!!

All 3! You poor thing that must’ve been so scary and delighted that it all turned out ok 🤗 I’m actually -10 weeks pregnant - had a little boy now and all went very smoothly. Just took me a bit longer than I thought to get this video finished up 😅 x

I just found out I am pregnant--at 36! Not being able to get Botox and use Tretinoin was one of the most devastating realizations that I had yesterday. 😂 This was the first thing I had on my todo list today. Thank you, Dr. Tonks.

😆 that’s exactly what went through my mind too as it was also a surprise for me! Congrats on the big news Tasha 🤗 I’ll be doing one more video on nonsurgical treatments for pregnancy next time! I did wonder if these videos would be helpful for the subscribers as it’s pretty niche but I thought that the info was so important and I spent so much time researching it all I just had to share them!

Dr Tonks, I'm kind of fat and trying to lose weight. If I lose weight, will fillers metabolize? Should I wait until after I lose weight to get them

Are tyrosinase inhibitors such as Kojic acid, Alpha Arbutin, licorice root, Thiamidol (Eucerin patented) safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding?
@DrSarahTonks2 жыл бұрын
Hi Cassie! Kojic acid is the only one that I would consider using out of all these options and I would do my best to try and wait until I'm not pregnant or breastfeeding at all if possible. Some of these other ingredients show signs that they could be harmful to the baby which of course means that there won't be any human studies conducted so we will likely never know for sure! If I were to use Kojic acid my skin would need to be particularly bothersome and I would seek supervision before using it either way. It's all about reducing risk with these kind of things and playing it safe. From what I've read Kojic acid should be OK but if I did decide to use it then I most definitely would not apply it to my breasts and then breastfeed the baby 🍼
