As a Sag Asc I have to admit that this episode nailed me hard. Every point was on point, 100%. When I first heard about The Secret, it worked for me 100% for 12 years straight, flawlessly. In my creativity and truth without to much seriousness.

One of my favorite episodes in this series thus far! I'm a Gemini sun, but I just love Sag energy (my Jupiter is in Sag). I wanted to comment with additional Sag examples I love: Beethoven, who's a quintessential Saggitarian imo. And Jim Morrison whom Ashley reminded me of when she spoke about belief in oneself and ability to do anything just like when Jim says: "I AM THE LIZARD KING. I CAN DO ANYTHING!!!" at the end of Not to Touch the Earth, lol. Another interesting Saggitarian sun would be Britney Spears. My brother is also a Saggitarius sun&mercury, and this episode definitely helped me understand some of his personality traits more easily. Thank you so much for this series. :)

There is a foundational level of fear that Scorpio operates from that gets corrected in Sagittarius. The understanding being what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and even if it does kill you you'll get another shot in the next life, creating a sense of unbridled optimism. Capricorn limits the optimistic outlook but retains the goal (whatever that may be) and practically works towards it

I love that you mention the family synastry at the end. That is my greatest fascination. I love looking at family charts! It always blows my mind. I have even run family charts for dogs and it still tracks. Personally, family synastry was what demolished any last shred of skepticism that I still had. I used to work in childcare and I was able to get a lot of family case studies. I would love an episode on family synastry! It is just so crazy! Thank you for this episode. I have a Sagittarius stellium which includes a Jupiter moon conjunction. My south node is at 17° Sagittarius and all three of my siblings have something at 17° Sagittarius. I don't have my mother's birth time, but I have this feeling her AC might be 17° Sag. Both my parent's and my sister are Aquarius sun's. My sister and I have the same rising and moon sign. I actually find that siblings having the same rising sign is very common and often the siblings share a similar experience within the family dynamic. My sister and I are both Capricorn rising and we had to take on a lot of responsibility early, whereas our Gemini rising brother was the baby who everyone took care of.

Well, I loved how honest Rob was with being like yeah...I have some strong opinions and sharing the whole truth even though it wasn't needed😂 But you can literally see the sag qualities shine in both of them being so complimenting of new ideas that were sort of coming up throughout the conversation and really keep up the conversation from one thing to the next rather than staying focused on one aspect for a long time. I loved it, really interesting for me...as is expected from Sagittarius ✨

I believe Sagittarius is well-served if they learn to manage expectations. Disillusionment and discouragement result from the aim being too high. Interestingly, Sagittarius is also strongly correlated with religion and the word "sin" in ancient Greek, Aramaic and Hebrew languages is an archery term that translates as "missed take". I think the wonderful story from A.A. Milne (whose NN is in Sag) wherein Winnie the Pooh is rising aloft, clutching a balloon in his quest for honey, crossing the bees whose aggressive buzz and stings make him abandon the balloon and dive for the mud below captures this archetype well. (Fellow philosophers who knew Milne say he saw Pooh's love and pursuit of honey as metaphor for the quest for truth.) Love this series, Chris; truly inspired.

This is an amazing episode as a Sagittarius rising/ascendent conjunct Uranus and can relate to everything, especially with Sagittarius needing a goal into order to fully function. A benefit of having a Sagittarius rising is feeling lucky. A lot of people comment how I’m always winning things which is so accurate lol.

I’m a Capricorn w/ mercury and Uranus in Sag. My father, best friend, Childs mother, business partner and many friends are all Sag. I always attract Sag in my life lol. They are all good people who faced a lot of challenges in life but overcame. They are also all very lucky and daring. I admire how Sag doesn’t worry about failure and operates with great optimism.

Chris! I am so grateful for this series you started back in Aries. It has been so fun to listen each month to the episodes which bring to mind my ppl of each sign. As a Scorpio, I will say that my fave sign BY FAR is Sagittarius. I have never met a Sag I don’t love. It’s also funny cuz my partner is a Sag & so many of the traits resonate. Sag have great laughs, as our two guests exemplify. They go on tangents. They are know it alls & we love their passion! ❤ Loved the bit about Disney, too, especially cuz it made me think of how ppl TRAVEL great distances to be in these wonderlands of big ideas. Anytime I look up an artist I love, they are almost always Sag. 😂 They need us Scorpios to ground them in the dark truth, and we Scorpios need Sag to elevate our detective minds from dissecting the past to venturing toward the future! ♐️

Excited to watch! This series has been super helpful so far, particularly for the signs that are averse to my ascendant (Cancer) as I have a more difficult time understanding them compared to the rest. I have no doubt I'll have a better grasp of Sagittarius after watching.

I'm a Sagittarius. That being said I'm a documentary addict lol. I was watching one aboutt Socrates earlier and realized I had a lot in common with him and his philosophies. I thought to myself "that makes sense because I'm a Sagittarius" I never really got into zodiacs but being a Sagittarius that was something I remembered from when I looked into it ears ago when i read about my zodiac and one thing that stuck out, the philosophy aspect, All that information bends me to my point. My brain switched over from watching docs about Socrates and Aristotle and Plati to looking more into zodiacs, specifically mine. Aadmittedly I had some skeptisism even though I remembered the last time I looked into it (by that I mean I read like one thing about it) I remembered a lot of what I read fit. That brought me to your podcast, I liked and subscribed. I came across a few other videos/docs first but they don't even come close to your podcast, you sparked my interest and made a believer out of me. As a Sagittarius, I will be watching and learning, and unable to explain any of this to anyone 😂. Glad I find ya Chris, thanks for doing what you do 🤙🏻

8 degrees sun Sag conjunct pluto opposite 5 degrees jupiter in Gemini, 24 mercury in Scorpio opposite 26 Saturn in Taurus. Very true about mastering many different things, but communicating it in a way that a normal person would understand is extremely difficult. I feel like I could go on a digression about absolutely anything if you had suggested it, and I find communicating to others about the same things I’m obsessed about the most satisfying part of life. It’s only frustrating when you have to actually PRACTICALLY use the things you know to help yourself grow. I will say that I’ve had a difficult upbringing and I’ve always survived with my experiences. Could also be my Capricorn moon, but I digress. This is my favorite episode yet.

Oh my goodness, this touched on so many issues that have plagued me in my whole life. Without going into a long description of my whole chart (Merc in ♐), my Sun is in ♑ & my Moon is in ♋. I have been in conflict with those aspects my whole life. (I don't think it helps that I have an 11 life path.) I have come to the conclusion that my ♐ Rising trumps everything else in my chart. This video explains it all. Jupiter's influence & Sag's crazy optimism coupled with the belief that Truth & Justice always prevails gets me through all obstacles and disappointments despite my Cappy cynicism and Cancer sensitivity. One thing that happens as Sagittarius comes out of Scorpio is it goes from sort of an emotional depth into a conceptual or intellectual depth. Sagittarius is often associated with morality and right and wrong, these sort of beliefs often form in the emotionally deep level of Scorpio where someone was hurt in some way, out of that pain comes forth a sort of conceptual or moral framework that gets built up in Sag, but often it’s roots are in that pain found in Scorpio. You can see this in the work of many moral philosophers.

I love that you brought up travel!! I always tell people “why bother with all that travel bs when I travel in my books and movie all the time lol! But now I have completed a phase of everything I experienced (the world inside of me) and know so I am willing now to explore the world outside of me. 🙏🏾♥️ this video was everything!!!! I only have Jupiter in sagittarius but it's sextile my libra sun/mercury and aquarius moon. I feel like it's an important part of my character, my thought process tends to consider the bigger picture rather than details and I've always been drawn to philosophy, politics and ideas. Sagittarius and Jupiter are in my third house and needless to say I love talking and reading about the aforementioned.

I think it's interesting how, at least in the US, a person can become a lawyer with a degree in philosophy. Also, I find it interesting how the greater and lesser benefics AND the greater and lesser malefics are one right after each other. Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn>> Aquarius, Pisces, Aries and Taurus. I think Sagittarius deals with the negative effects of Scorpio such as doubt. Scorpio has suspicions but Sagg deals with that suspicion with "all will be well! They're a friend!" Capricorn deals with the consequences "thats not how the world works. 😒" One word I associate with fire signs is audacity. Aries has the audacity to irritate, agitate, start s**t etc, Leo has the audacity to BE, and Sagittarius has the audacity to tell you you're wrong lol

I've never cared to travel much except in my mind. I do travel a lot locally tho. Restlessness is a sag trait. I think to Sag, one place is as good as another, and anything is representative of everything of the same kind.

Wonderful conversation about Sagitarius! I have Sagitarius in my 7th house, with Neptune there opposed Venus in my ascendant. Despite possibly projecting sometimes and while being aware of the faults of this sign, I really love that sign and all the humour, spirituality, high energy and the love of fun.

I have Sun and Mercury in Saggitarius, and once I was taking my son to the Barmitzvah of one of his friends, and it was getting late and needed directions and I phoned his mum and asked where was the Mosque. My son still laughs about me to this day. So the ability to put foot in mouth is very Saggitarian. I think honesty too, sometimes naivety against the savvyness of Gemini, Gemini would sell sand to an Arab (its a Spanish saying), meanwhile Saggy is that astrologer who falls down the well. Gemini is nimble, Saggitarius heavy and pompous. I feel, that Saggitarius and Pisces share Jupiter, and faith features greatly, Saggitarius in a more militant way, he/she is the priest, meanwhile Pisces is guided by faith too, but in a less egotistical and judgemental way, perhaps because Piscis is water and Sag, burning fire, the purification ritual, for good or for bad. The Crusades must have been Saggitarian. Compared to Scorpio, I think Saggitarius sees the demise of revenge and the feeling so deep of Scorpio, and then faith is born, and Capricorn is more sceptical, as in yeah big ideas need to be implemented. As well, I think we are the eternal students, plus we are lucky (I think it is because we have faith, and we have no sense of ridicule, so we keep on trying) I am 50ish and I have been accepted to study a form of art in University this year, and it's definitely my favourite environment: learning and teaching. Earning money it's OK but so mundane! And we do like the sound of our own voices! As you can see. I have Jupiter, Uranus, Moon conjunction in my rectified chart because I don't know my exact time, and I don't win stuff as such, but occasionally I fall in the right situation amazingly, just by chance; in the terrible ones, too, just by chance too, but I think that's due to Saturn in Aries close to the North Node in the Eigth, another Saggitarian characteristic, too much information otherpeople really don't need! 🤣 And I live the guests, so relaxed and easy going and knowledgeable, too. Thank you!

fire heals too. think of cauterizing a wound... It's kind of funny to have yourself defined by a single sign. My chart has Virgo rising and Pluto, Cancer Moon, Scorpio Venus and Neptune, Mars in Aquarius, Jupiter and Uranus in Libra, Saturn in Taurus, and NN in Pisces, in addition to my Sag Sun and Mercury. I believe this makes me quite a balanced person.

Regarding justice: one way I think of it is that Libra is the scales and the application of maintaining justice, Sagittarius is the law and intellectual exploration of what justice means. And yes, both are very concerned with justice and what is "right"/as fair as possible. (My creds on this sre my Sag stellium inc sun/rising and my Libra MH, moon, Venus lol)

I’m a Sag sun ☀️ & I have at least 4 more Sagittarius ♐️ placements so I’m a bigtime Sag.🤪 But as your typical Sagittarius ♐️ I had to jump in here to share that some of the things you’re sharing about Sag ♐️ vs OTHER horoscopes, I’m not sure that I agree fully is at all. For example: you shared the differences in between Sag & Pisces ♓️ I agree with most of what you shared but not all. You said Pisces is more likely to sit with someone & help them heal & be more compassionate & sit with you & basically hold your hand & Sag is less compassionate & they do want to help but the will kinda give you instructions & say, well here you go, basically heal on your own. Those were not your words but it is how it sounded to me. Well, I know this will souls egotistical but I’m probably the most compassionate person I’ve ever met. I am the type that will spend hours daily, for years helping someone who doesn’t even want to help himself. I NEVER give up on people. My sister in law is a Pisces & she never goes out of her way for anyone at all. Next point: you said Sag have a hard time following through & they over commit. I always UNDER promise & OVER deliver 100%! It is who I am. My words, match my actions 100% Next point: I know everyone says Sag ♐️ LOVES to travel. I DO enjoy traveling but I also hate it & here’s why: traveling it’s super exciting until we unpack our suit cases or worse yet live out of them. I HATE CHAOS & I detest a mess, which leads me to my next point, you said Sag is perfectly fine in chaos & a mess & Aquarius ♒️ was super neat. Another reason I hate traveling is because no matter how exciting the trip is once it’s time to go to sleep, you have to sleep in a strange bed 🤮 & I promise you it does matter if you paid 100,000 per night, it is so gross!! I worked at a resort once, you have NO idea the stuff house keeping finds on those 100,000 suits!!!! 🤮buying gross. For the most part I agree with everything you’re saying but I can’t help to wonder if the opinion in your discussion would be a little different IF there was more DIVERSITY around the discussion! Also we have 12 different personality types & I promise you a ( S personality Sagittarius is NOT the same to a D personality Sagittarius) I’m 99.9% the girl on this podcast is an S personality & I’m a D! The D personality is the most DRIVEN, bold, passionate, has the highest leadership qualities & the S personality are more people pleasers, they’re followers not leaders. They’re very soft spoken. I could have 20 days left to live & I have more SPUNK than he could ever hope to have. When he first met me he use to call me “energizer bunny 🐰” because I would just keep going & going. I’m the most youthful person I know & he is an OLD SOUL! Taurus ♉️ vs Sagittarius ♐️ you said Taurus prefers to eat the same things & Sagittarius prefers to explore new options, restaurants & food from different countries. I do like that occasionally but I prefer the SAME food as often as possible. When I go out to dinner I love to look at the menu & fantasize about all the new dishes, I even select the newest hottest looking dish & when it’s time to order 99% of the times I always order the SAME dish!! It drives my family crazy! I don’t know what time I was born so I do NOT know my rising, I guess it’s possible my rising could be Taurus & if so it would EXPLAIN a lot. You said that Sagittarius needs air to survive so they work well with libra! I have NOTHING in common with the Libra ♎️ in my life. The closest person in my life it’s a Taurus ♉️ & he drives me BONKERS but even though we’re different, in many ways we’re extremely alike. We’re like Teo halves of one same fruit. He’s the person that knows me best & I’m the person who knows him best. Also, I have an aunt who is a Taurus ♉️ & she is an elementary teacher. She is the greatest teacher in the entire universe, she is so grounded & kind & patient & Sagittarius is not exactly patient but we’re the teachers of the zodiac. Many Taurus ♉️ ARE teachers. We’re more alike than you realize. My Taurus ♉️ & I are extremely alike & in the areas that we ARE different we complete each other perfectly. He’s the ONE person I can be myself with the best. I dated a Libra for 9 years in my twenties & now I’m married to a Libra & like I said we get along great but I would be lying if I said I can be myself around either one of them, not completely. Also my two sisters are Libra & we don’t get along at all. One is too reckless & the older one is to flaky, stuck up & she is into materialistic things, she values people based on what they have & if ( Sagittarius meaning me) if I point it out to her then she gets mad & accuses me of “how dare you think I’m materialistic” 🤦🏻‍♀️ proof is in the pudding! She & her kids they think IF you dress well, brand names etc, THIS MEANS you have CLASS! 🤦🏻‍♀️ if you dress well you’re classy!🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 some of the most CHEAP TRASHY people dress nice & drive $2million cars!!💥 CARDIB jajaja you probably don’t even know who that is!! I have my sun , Venus, mercury, Neptune and mid heaven in Sagittarius…most in 9th house. As a Sagittarius, I feel like an expert on sag. 😂 Pretty much everything mentioned was on point! Sagittarius folks are almost always the most fun and interesting people in a room but also extremely difficult to understand. Love what was said about the Gemini contrast and properly articulating all of their knowledge. Gemini’s are my favorite but their small talk is personally nauseating for me. The part about conversation digression was particularly hilarious for me with my mercury conjunct Neptune in the 9th house. I could definitely relate to everything that was brought up. I agree with the commentators as a Sag. Half head in the clouds/esoteric thinking - half grounded. We are the most obliviously optimistic sign that I can think of.
