They are placing identical values next to each other. There were 13 incorrectly placed dice across their boards.

Great game! It's elegant/minimalist in its layout, but there's lots of room for subtleties. It reminds me of "bridge night," where people can sit around and chat about whatever outwardly with their friends, but the whole time they are planning moves/tricks ahead. A lot of games are so bogged down with a frakton of counters, cards, exceptions, and modifiers that everyone has to spend the whole time just trying to keep the rules straight. It's good to see one that has a classic appeal like Go or chess... a couple minutes to learn, a lifetime to master :)

I literally watched this to understand how to play. I feel like even though they got it dreadfully wrong, I learned what I needed to learn because of the comments. The one thing I was confused about was if I had to play my next die off my last die. Thats how we were ok playing and we got trapped very early on. But I think the rules say you can only play orthogonally or diagonally of you last played dice. As in plural. So you can play off the entire group of dice. Which makes it much easier to play.

Love the show and you guys really showed how game is played out but 2 big rules were neglected. You guys can’t have the same color dice AND same number dice touching each other orthogonally.

They also added sets of 3/4's for example instead of sets of 3's and sets of 4's. 3+4 =0 points. 3+3 and 4+4 = 4 points for 2 sets.

Hate to add to the rules flubs, but around 31:30, Sandeep uses two tools in one turn, which isn't allowed, you can only use one per turn. In all fairness, though, easy one to make, the others should've called him on it :P Also, Becca says he could place his green down then remove it later as an illegal positioning, but that's not allowed either.

In order I've constructed the list of important things in this series 1. The post productions dude that adds a tiny amount of humor 2. Becca is pretty and seems to have a decent personality 3.every episode of GtG feels like a reality show that features two blind dates

Okay, I might sound silly asking this. But! If certain cards allow a player to break a rule (ignoring number/ shade) and someone points it out later in the game. And that player forgets he used the card and takes off the dice he’s losing points when he shouldn’t. I know you should keep track of how many token you have/used. But wouldn’t this get confusing?

This is a great game and one I've enjoyed playing. But as a game being filmed this needs an occasional overhead shot of players boards, as viewers haven't really got a clue what's happening on each board. Great series though, thanks for making them.

i m french sorry for my English, Balancing problem Bravo, excellent video, I have a problem balancing in the lens with this game, ex: 2 points per pair of 1 and 2, imagine that I can do 3 pairs in my table or 6 points, if during the game I simply took a 6 in the color of my objecti F and well it also makes 6 points!!!!, on one side we need 6 dice to make 6 points of the other 1!!!!! I love this game but the, I think it was not enough test to let it pass!!

I thought 2 number couldn't be next to one another. The example in the beginning had two 6 next to on another. As well as 2's. 3:34

You are correct...this was an epic fail at the very beginning when she was explaining the game rules before game play. She pointed out that no color could be "orthogonally" (above, below or side by side) touching the same color but she failed to mention the die of a same number also couldn't touch orthogonally. Then several played number to number. I also feel it would have been better if they did some close up overhead shots to show the game-boards as the game play progressed. I just ordered game and am waiting for it to arrive so I'm watching several videos to get familiar with it. I so wish Will and Anna Wheaton would put this game on Table Top!!

I feel like the "asides" portion of this show is missing. Everyone is comparing it to Tabletop and I think that a LOT of the humor in that show is from the individual interview portions that play throughout. Excluding that piece of the puzzle seems like a missed opportunity.

Before you go ahead a film something like this, you would probably want to have someone experienced with the rules show at least one person how to play. There were tons of illegally placed dice.

if the rules say they actually have to be caught with the dice in the right place. It could be argued that since they weren't caught they are not against the rules. A few friends of mine and I enjoyed games like these for quite a while because trying to pull one over on each other and getting away with it becomes just as much part of the game as the basic rules where we end up playing two games in one. The game as written and the game of deception by managing not to be caught with an incorrect play that's only incorrect when caught.

I miss when geek & sundry was good , you had TableTop and a lot of funny stuff , now we have Game the Game , I loved tabletop , infact when Will and Felicia were here it was a hell of a lot more popular but now they get super low views , geek and sundry used to be Geek & sundry! Basically, the shitty company that bought G&S wanted to move Tabletop to a streaming service behind a pay wall, Wheaton didn't want to so they stopped production. If you were wondering why G&S is a wasteland now, that's why. Becca is really likeable and I wish her the best but this show is extremely boring compared to Tabletop. To be brutally honest, she's all pep and no personality.
