Buddhist also teaches this and Jainism also christinaity is a type of Buddhist religion so it also promotes non violence and tolerance

@@chitranjankumarkushwaha4259 I'm aware this is part of all religions. Reducing the meaning to nonviolence and tolerance (toward others) falls short, however, of what was discussed in this talk. This was also about not fretting internally about your own inner turmoil and hardships like disease, inabilities, inhibitions, and the like. "Meek" to me is a term that encompasses the attitude of devotion, helpfulness, acceptance, freedom from greed and jealousy a.s.o. without striving for a personal gain beautifully in one word, wich is why this particular piece of scripture came to mind without meaning to promote any particular religion.

Not only Vivekchuramani of Shankaracharya, Sant Kabir told same thing, as given below,, कहत कबीर सुनो भाई साधो, साहिब मिले सबूरी में, मन लाग्यो मेरो, यार फ़कीरी में। It means one gets God in patience and hence, continue with your devotion without fail.

One who forbears will last. And digital-culture without saying it, is ridiculing/mocking this quality. People who forbear are seen as underachievers. So, a paradigm shift is round the corner...human civilization will face economic miseries, natural disasters, military conflicts etc in coming 10-20 years...quality of forbearance will be tested. Age old virtues never die.
