Thank you soooooo much for this video!!! Guadiana is our next destination, we’re leaving from Portimao, this was really really helpful! Or not, I’ll have to take a Lexotan to cross that bridge, we also have a 17 meters mast... it looks terrifying to see it! 😱😂

The way border restrictions are now. I bet many will use that river as a crossing from Portugal to Spain to avoid border covid control. Easy crossing on a cheap holiday dinghy

What did I miss with the air draft? High or low in the given conditions made no difference to Impavidus.... did it? (Or was it a comfort choice?)

SBODS. Listed hight of bridge on charts is 18 mtrs above HAT. Locals told us that it was actually 20 mtrs above HAT. Our Air draft is 18.8 mtrs. Depending on what you believe to be true it was always going to be close. Even at low water. From the deck it looked very close but there was probably 2 mtrs clearance on the day. But it's always worrying when its you traveling home :-) Sail safe. A&C xx
