They've been home for several months already. Baby was born back in late February early March (not sure of the exact date, think it was like March 2-3). I too hope they keep going with the videos, I watch because I love their story, it doesn't have to all be focused on Sailing. That being said, I'm looking forward to seeing them sail with their baby on board too.

I am living in Thailand at this time and I know that the shipyard workers and the day laborers understand more English than you have suggested. If you are near Trang then there are some good English speaking Thai there. My friend Gary is married to a wonderful Thai lady who does all the interpreting for the Hospital there and she is also a very wonderful doctor and both are Christian so you might look for Darnee and Gary Harper if that is where you are at. I live in Namrium which is just outside of Tak in the North (on the way to Chaing Mai). My wife is also very good at English and she is working with me on my Thai. I also am a member of the Ham Radio group here in Tak and they are learning English as they are trying to converse with me on the radio. If you have a Ham Ticket in America you can get your Thai license without to much trouble if you connect with the local group where you are. As for driving, I have found it to be very little problem as long as you consider that they drive the same way "Big City" taxi drivers drive. The biggest problem Americans find is driving on the opposite side of the road. The pay as you go stations work better if you hold the start button till it starts pumping.

Actually $25 or 800 baht is pretty good money for an unskilled laborer and the guys getting $75 or $2,400 baht is rent and bills paid in five days for the month. It’s good that you were able to hire these guys and give them something extra for their efforts. I know they will have appreciated your good vibes too. Try some pak-a-POW, and if they have it, laab moo and pak pick-ann are very tatsty too. Sorry about my phonetics. I don’t comment much but very excited for the both of you and wish you all the best and happiness.
@milesbaker7499

Agreed. Instead of tipping, hire more people. $25 is a lot in Thailand and you're doing their whole village more service by hiring more people.

Apparently it also helps that Wood is a mind reader.. For me i need to have over head escape hatches, i know the boat could flip but, you could open them for air flow (you know they work). Remember no paint under the zink (anode) as i know it to be.

steven bartlett ! I agree, he really has this calm, auditorial voice. So I would recommend him to use that voice to Maybe earning money by do some Narrator work. He can easy use some of their videos to show a tv producers what he sounds like. I don’t actually know how these two make money, outside the money they get trough this KZfaq channel. I don’t know how much money KZfaq are bringing in these days for them. By listening to almost every other KZfaq’er, they can’t no longer live of the money from KZfaq alone anymore, Therefore Patron and other support functions the creators must beg for money through. I guess you need a really big Patreon support group, I mean, if they are trying to make a living from the payment they get through Patreon, and KZfaq. And in this case they also are two people, and as we watched, they now are growing in numbers, mouth too feed, well not in the beginning, then hopefully she’s able to give the little one breast milk in the beginning. Any whooo, I was just brain storming around how a person, could earn some money While living on a sailboat full time, circling the Globe 🌍🌎🌏 for years and years, Maybe they actually are so grate people they should be supported enough so be able to by a new, ore newer boat. That’s my opinion any way. I wish you good luck with your new situation, by becoming parents. For your kid,/kids sake, I really hope that my get the opportunity to start their first 5-7 to 10 years sailing the world. Homeschooling on a sailboat must be the best start in life. Well my opinion anyhoo,
