Hello there ! This part of France from Saint Malo to Nantes is called Brittany, and used to be a country. I was a mix with « brit’s » and celtics. There are a lot to see you missed the « rose cost » with granit with the special color. Don’t miss Carnac the most iconic menhir and dolmen place in the world. I am in Pornichet if you need a stop point and maybe I can help. Thank you to give dreams !

Don’t worry about the Schengen permit, just say you’re a migrant seeking asylum, and you just can’t decide where to stay.🫤

Cheers, mate! Great passage! I'm based in Poole, southern England and hope to venture to France again in my boat - Contessa 28. Really nice to see real sailors in small boats who are not in quarter of a million buck super yachts making these epic passages! Good job, fair winds and following seas!

That looked scary. The squeaking from the tiller sounded like you had a kid on-board crying.

Hey tickled me, when he says I don't like this, I half expected him to start throwing a tantrum, seems like a good kid

that squeaking sound is so obscene and bizarre.

Ahoy Sam, did you see Captain Q gave you a nice plug in his episode on a $6,000 world cruiser?

Camaret. I hope you had the occasion to learn the famous song about the Priest of Camaret ! Next time I hope you'll sing it to us with your ukulele 😁

I could really sense the anxiety of the sailing, the passage and the mental battle against wind and waves. Sam, this video particularly pulls us in. Great job!

Been watching your videos for the past year or so. My Father used to take me out sailing as a kid with his buddies up in mid-coast Maine. I remember getting anxiety from how they would sail - getting the edge as close to the water as possible. Never thought I'd want to go sailing again in my life but you proved me wrong. From the way you explain what you're doing to the places you explore. It's a world full of wonder and excitement. What really makes these videos special is your vibrant, wholesome personality which makes the viewer feel as though we are watching a good friend on his adventures across the seas - a place few of us are able to explore. Thanks for existing, Sam.

Loved your use of the navionics voice-over to describe current sailing conditions/ destination. Really adds to the story telling when its used during the passage as opposed to a recap later on. Same goes for the 360 cam sail changes. Thanks for bringing us along with you Sam!

I delivered a yacht back from la rochelle and had to sail on to the fuel pontoon as we had run out of fuel. We sailed perfectly to the bearth and walk away saying to each other "I hope nobody asks us to do that again" keep it coming

This is one of the more nerve-racking sail videos. Thanks for capturing all of it. It really gives the sense of stress you feel on board

Again a nice video. The Bay of Biscay can be terrible when it comes to waves (see eg Igor Stropnik's videos where he sails various catamarans from the Netherlands and France to Croatia). By the way, I love these sleepy little French towns. Not only along the coast, but also inland. There is a very special atmosphere there which I really like with old buildings and a lot of unpretentious history.
