Who in their right mind would accept such refund? Maybe I should've tried to refund R6S when I stopped liking their updates? So what I already had hundreds of hours in it? For mental health reasons - just to avoid burn out - you need multiple people. Try to get operators of an anarchy server to tow on the same rope. Possible if you grow the staff slowly and organically - but... 2B2T: It needs drama every so often and handling drama is part of both on boarding and daily operation - so you can not just replace staff quickly.

Your logic is flawed. It isn't about how many of his viewers play 2b, its how many 2b players watch his videos. And as a former 2b player I can say that last one is a lot. Sal has lots of respect in the community and I'd bet at least 60-70% watch his videos or hear about it.

Another problem with this logic is that not all of Sal's videos are targeted at 2b players. This video and his last one will see far more interaction from 2b players than his general videos because they are 2b related. Even if his subscribers and followers are not 2b players, 2b players will undoubtedly watch this content.

Hause doesnt even own the server anymore I'm pretty sure, this guy is just a random mf that bought it.

Hause left the server in 2014 with a message on the website stating that an anonymous friend would take over the server. We aren't quite sure if Hause is still the owner or not, or if this "friend" sold the server to someone else. It's most likely though (through a number of different sources, for example his emails went from being very polite and mainly swedish to a bit of a rude tone, which is also visible here) that Hause is not the one controlling the server. The most likely option is that whoever took over the server either sold it to some big company or some other person or they're still controlling it themselves.

as others have said, mojang's priorities for multi-player are very different from that of a large server. mojang wants people to be playing multiplayer, but probably in groups of around 10-25 at most, with people who already know eachother in some way. and their priority is a smooth vanilla experience at that size. in a group that small, a lot of the security can be pushed aside. because if someone is cheating, they can be easily banned when discovered, and these events would be seldom heard of and probably not repeated. in a sense, player obfuscation already exists in the vanilla game. yes, that data is given to your computer, but its not given to the player. because of this, we can be certain that mojang never intended us to have that information. that said, the whole point of an anarchy server is that there are no rules, no moderation, no extra steps taken like proper, server side player obfuscation. it goes against the concept of the server, even if it is in the spirit of what mojang intends.

there's og hause who ran the server originally, georgebush420 the "anonymous friend" who took over from og hause in 2014, and then at some point from then to now georgebush420 sold the server to new ownership.
