What are the Top skills/tasks you need to know to qualify for Jr. Salesforce Admin jobs? I'm looking to learn the absolute bare minimum ASAP so I can immediately provide value to a company while not having to wait to learn all of Salesforce and pass the Admin Cert. Are there mundane, repetitive tasks that I can master and possibly perform for a company while I continue to learn? Thanks!

I completed the 'Prepare for Your Salesforce Certified Associate Credential' Trailmix on Trailhead, completed the 'Cert Prep: Salesforce Certified Associate' module on Trailhead and studied the recommended topics, and watched Emily's video above :^) The questions vary in difficulty. I didn't do as great on the Data Model but found the other topics much easier. Good luck!

Hello Emily thanks for your video, Do you know if it's possible for us to put a default valeur from a picklist when a specific user create an opportunity? For example, we want that when someone from USA create an opportunity, it directly puts USA in the final destination country... If yes, can you please help me? Thank you, Martin

@@darkeye306- I used Saasguru, SF Associate Trailmix (only did some), and bought the Upskill course for $20 from this video. Saasguru is similar to the Upskill course. Both easy to understand and user friendly for someone with ADHD like me. Saasguru is free, but I decided to get the Upskill course because 100% people who used it, passed. I only studied 2 days. 1 using some trailhmix and saasguru, and 1 day with the Upskill, a few hours before my final exam (I sped the videos 2x's) and somehow received the info well. The reason why I got the Upskill exam guide was because I was afraid I would fail with just trailhead and Saasguru. There is an exam at the end with Upskill that you can take multiple times. Honestly, that really helped me pass the exam. I think the official exam was harder for me overall, but all these tools really helped in some way. I went back about 4 or 5 times to check my answer. I noticed I was off by 1 word or end of sentence for a few answers, and changed my answers. You can do it!

Hi Leo happy to help! This certification is so new that it is still unknown how recruiters will take it. Although from what I can see is that it can help get a salesforce adjacent job. Not one that has salesforce admin as the title, but would likely have salesforce as a part of the job. Things like sales operations analyst or revenue operations. Hope this helps!

There are a few resources you can use. For free resources you can use this blog post dineshyadav.com/salesforce-certified-associate/ and the trail mix for the certification. As for paid resources, I have created a course on this certification with a very helpful glossary of terms and practice exam that you can find on udemy or SalesforceUpskill.com
