I used a salicylic acid serum for years before I started on Tretinoin. It’s definitely effective for exfoliating and sunspots and giving your skin a nice smooth texture.

I had a mole on my face , had grown out of nowhere and I made peace with myself that I have to live my life with that thing on my face . But then I had some bad acne episodes, god blessed that acne . And I started using SA wash to stop the acne . Guess what happened? The dam mole dried out,that’s how I figured out it was a wart not a mole.😅

I used salicylic acid for years and still had awful skin. Now, I'm realizing it was probably all of the "natural fragrances" and "organic botanical extracts" that were so irritating. My skin still sucks but benzoyl peroxide, clyndamiacin, tretinoin, and unscented drug store products are helping a ton.

I use a salicylic acid face wash and tend to leave it on while I shower. A huge help in preventing breakouts (I always regret trying new face washes because of this) I used to go wash my neck and nape with it too but has since stopped with the nape. Leaving it on made it go to my hair and unfortunately dried it out so keep it to your face and neck 😅

I'm three and a half months on tretinoin now and waiting for my skin to fully get adjusted to it before incorporating other actives into my routine. Can't wait to slowly add in salicylic acid, niacinamide and vitamin c in particular. This skin is gonna have such a healthy glow!

Is salicylic acid supposed to cause skin to peel over time? I can't use over the counter products with salicylic acid daily because it makes my face peel. In fact, I have to use it rarely on my nose or else my nose will literally start cracking.

I bought Nizoral 3% salicylic acid shampoo for psoriasis & use it as a face wash. It's great. I also found a generic version at Walgreens.

Salicylic acid makes me purge purge purge. Red and itchy. I took aspirin once and it made me feel funny. Many years later I found out they’re related. Makes sense now. I might be intolerant or sensitive to it.

Hi guys i used the soul apothecary salicylic acid cleanser for over a month now and i only use it for three or four times a week and i dont see andy improvements at all in fact i only got acne marks from the papule that it caused but they say that its just purging but i dont know anymore if irs purging or not because i dont know if purging last for over a month or more and i dont know what i need to do any tips please?😅 Guys? I don’t use any skin care that isn't safe for pregnancy because if it's not safe then why would be safe afterwards, plus Aloe Vera gel is a gentle exfoliator that can be used everyday and i rarely get breakouts now
