The meatball version of Salisbury steak. Be prepared to marvel at how incredibly juicy and tender these meatballs are. And that mushroom gravy - wow! PRINT RECIPE: www.recipetineats.com/salisbu...

Thanks for the video! I cooked these Salisbury meatballs just earlier. It was very tasty 😋. My mate ate two portions, and I'm stuffed. This is a much better recipe than what I've used before. Your sauce turned out perfect!!! Thanks for sharing all your great posts!

And for an extra kick and make the gravy darker I add a teaspoon of instant coffee. So far my wife hasn't caught on yet. She did figure out my biscuit secret of putting the bowl of flour & butter in the freezer for at least 20 minutes before adding the milk.

I've made your Salisbury Steak recipe. Love all your recipes, delicious and they work. However, here in the states its hard find a good beef bouillon. Most taste synthetic and full of salt. Can you recommend a substitution?
@milkshake3350 Жыл бұрын
You could try making your own. Make a decent batch and freeze it..bingo!
@KendallsMom Жыл бұрын
@@milkshake3350 TY, my error, I meant to say beef bouillon cube that goes in meat for flavoring. All the ones I tried in the states are terrible.
@milkshake3350 Жыл бұрын
@@KendallsMom hi, you did say beef bouillon so no worries. My point is that you can actually make your own so you would never need to buy over salted cubes/powder again. Lots of recipes online. Good luck.

Better Than Boullion roast beef. You keep it in the refrigerator after opening the jar. It is the best besides homemade. It has a lot of sodium, so you have to adjust the salt in your seasoning, keep tasting the gravy until it is a little salty, but not too much. Everyone can sprinkle salt on their portions if they prefer it saltier. I love Herb Ox Bouillon too because you can buy it Sodium-free, and it has herbs. It does not taste sodium-free. It's my go-to if I have a stomach problem or get too sick to eat or keep food down. I add this as a part of trying to hydrate along with other liquids.
