This was the most entertaining show match of the tournament lol. They were really playing like they life was on the line. You could see they were fighting in game 4, bump each other etc. GG tho.

Ok hear me out: Why would Kronovi say he's going to make a "Flakes type run" when he's been getting so out played by EVERYONE all tournament? He looked like he wasn't even trying in the series against Chronic, missing easy open nets. What if.. he's just throwing league play to come in last so that he can make the biggest gauntlet run in 1v1 history? I'm not even a Kronovi fan but just.. what if?

@@jacepleasnet5101 rogue is a 3v3 team. This is a 1v1 tournament. 3v3 and 1v1 are completely different in terms of the types of decisions you can/cannot make and require different skills. Rogue's performance cannot be used to predict Kronovi here

Leth didn't overcommit once in the whole series, he was always back for making a save on the ball, he really made chicken work for every single goal, with a more consistent kickoff he would be a beast Edit:a bigger and scarier beast*

Arbrada Clay uhhhhh yeah he did. Chicken probably missed 7-8 open nets on outplays/faster plays than leth. He threw this series. He had a majority of controlled offense. Leth played pretty good defense but chicken just made a lot of errors on defense and missed open nets.

Mr.BUNZ26 eh. If chicken was more consistent he would easily be better. His offense is 10x better than leths. When leth doesn’t know what to do he just does mediocre slow flicks and long shots. 80% of his goals were chicken committing errors. Chicken threw this match. Chicken outpaced leth quite a bit too.

@@davida2039 Funny you say that, bc the way I see it leth played pretty poorly and nearly choked this series. He basically choked his lead in every single game they played and completely threw game 3. I think he could've won this 3-1 pretty easily if he didn't miss a wide open net from point blank range and literally hand chicken a goal on a silver platter in 1 hit at the end of game 3.

Leth had a number of kickoffs (ex: 36:20) where he got launched through the air after the kickoff, which would normally be bad, except that he was getting launched alongside the ball, grabbing 100 boost and then taking possession. New kickoff strat? 🤔

Proposal for a fun RL game once the tournament is over: let 2 pros play eachother in a always boost match where they are not allowed to touch the floor with their wheels. Basically they have to flop onto their roof at kickoff and use boost only to score goals. This mode is very "drifty" for the lack of a better term and requires lots of foresight to be able to score. Definitely fun to watch.

Squishy and scrub are very close in 1s always have been. That being said I don’t think anyone in this tournament is close to that level. First and leth could take games but in a bo5 I can’t imagine either of them winning.
