I had visions of a bbc news item that a 6ft man had been rescued by the fire brigade after getting stuck in a micro camper with his knees wrapped around his ears. Then Chris got in it and blew a funny vision out of the water. Love it guys and thank you both for providing the sanity we need to stay insane during this madness lol.

If you don’t need the Hand Controls Rob I’ll gladly take them off your hands so I can convert a racing wheel & pedals set (I’m a paraplegic: I use those Jeff Gosling Hand Controls on my BMW X1 and would love to make an e-racing set up that I can use - or even to convert the Kubota on the farm here!). #getinvolved

That's in amazing condition for its age and the bonus's of AC, opening windows and storage just made it better. They're a great little car, my mate has the Citroen version and the space in the back makes it really versatile. Looking forward to the build.

Elevating roof. Eberspacher water heater. Probably got room for 20l freshwater and grey waste tanks in the foot wells or under the load bed. Surprised you took the other lockers out. You’ll need the storage. A double bed will go in there on a little plinth. Have it as two singles then during the day you can stack them on top of each other to make a sofa while you’re cooking your breakfast. Storage under the left side on inside the plinth. As a caravanner I’d love to do as little project like this. It’s amazing how much gear you can get into a tiny space!!!

Have a look at the Kiwi campers. They have drawers sliding out the back to extend the load and create an outside cooking area to maximise the inside space.

Looks like an excellent vehicle, making it an excellent purchase. With very easy to get secondhand parts, and only light paint work required here and there. All round it'll make an excellent serious of highly watchable videos. And, to use the word one final time. I'm sure it'll soon be an excellent camper van. I'm truly envious of you, it's all superb! :-)
