My Grandfather was a setter in the transmission shop at Bedford's Luton plant, he was moved to the Dunstable shadow factory during the war. With a reserved occupation he ran his line of women workers making parts for Bedford military trucks & Churchhill tanks. On his time off, he was in "dad's army" !

I VERY MUCH ENJOY THESE EPISODES OF THE SALVAGE SQUAD. They are entertaining and informative. What I dislike is the obvious bullshit regarding the timeline of restoration. As skilled as the team are, there is just no way that quality restoration work can be performed in a matter of days. Claire Barrett.....I love you.

the tv program has to be short and lack some details otherwise would be to long and for most lose interest.

their possibility it whos done over number of weeks they gust dint tell you that they gust did it look like it done in few days it recorded in parts presumably over number of weeks them edited to gether cube tv jeperdy whos in days be for the internet who's big thing them anything cude sed or dune no one cude proove it
