I think Meta's Llama 3 is really underappreciated for what it is. Although it isn't superintelligence, the open source 70B parameter model achieved GPT-4 level intelligence with 15 times fewer parameters. Even the tiny 8B model is better than Grok and GPT-3.5 across the board, despite being small enough to run on most gaming/work computers.

25,000volts down to 18v that is some inductance transformer, and on a drone, wow.

Honestly, I hardly see how that's even possible. The poor thing would burn down even with some impressively thin lamination.

Good point, but what wiped out every planet we've discovered so far, why is our planet the only one out of the one hundred we've discovered that hasn't been destroyed yet?

Why would anyone want to occupy our perception or go into space when they can stay home and take alternative paths to exploration? Or maybe space is a bottleneck, and it was one random primordial flood creation soup goo struck by lightning lol

@dadsonworldwide3238 I'm more of a science guy. I studied mythology, the ocean, insects, and robots all for 7 years now, and I still have no idea what you're talking about.

@TRB4008 population species ordering categorizing skills has that effect on people. Since you studied insects I'm sure you run into lots of small variations like race as if it's a completely different species that those they can even breed with enough to know that just because on paper steps can appear rational but once put in practice the nilhism sets in and you lose objective measure. Where even hyper splitting evolutionist talk past one another on such identifiers. Built in plausible deniabilty loopholes embedded within bad habits more pseudo that precise and accurate

The best thing a sentient AI could do for humanity is to prevent us from killing each other, not by force, but by disrupting supply chains, communications, and financial transactions that enable the military machines throughout the world.

I would say we are nearing the next extinction due the rapid advancement of AI. In my short lifetime I have went from using Dial-up internet and wired caller ID phones to having literal game logic and web code written for me within 15 seconds.

Musk is wrong though. Also, it is really pathetic to watch the worm (i.e. elon musk) attempt to stay relevant by attaching himself to AI, and likely paying his cronies to hype up his activities and comments.
