Watching this all the way from South Africa. I can't even begin to say how much this has helped me. This has taught me so much. Thank you Samantha and Alkesh. I have begun doing gratitude diaries, always suffered with my gut but now have changed my diet and used the tips provided in the podcast, started meditating. So many things to consider and it has truly changed my health, I feel more energized and not likely to catch any viruses like before. I feel the change. Truly grateful and looking forward to the next episode

This is just a quality of an all rounder. Managing work schedules in acting, modelling and advertising, maintaining a sound mind and sound body with thorough awareness on the physical, social and mental well being. Wow SAM!! These snippets of health may not target the major audience, but will definitely put the right thoughts in those who want to change and correct themselves. Speaking of that, its just amazing to pick up this topic on the way we eat carbs, the insulin spike and stressors with associated conditions is the need of this hour. Keep going with all the good work being done and keep all of us educated to make healthy choices!!😁👏

Do Yoga regularly and you will start eating exactly what you need, and will automatically avoid excess and junk. Just 10-15 minutes of Yoga each day is enough, you don't need to do it for hours.

Sam is like that one smartest student in class who got this curiousity so much and always answers it right before the teacher say it out, so cute 😍 That sandwich question is great and the afternoon nap cause I’ve doing this most of the time, now I am aware of it. Great one can’t wait for Episode 2, hoping more talks about PCOS 🙌🏼♥️

Namaskar Samantha ji ! I am glad , I could reach you through this channel. I always wanted to let you know the following and here I am with the following information:- Being FIT is different from being Healthy. To begin with your question which is ...... 1. Why do carbs have such a bad name ? Answer : Everything we eat / drink including proteins except for water and fat gets converted into Glucose. The steps involved and the time taken to convert into Glucose differs. Simple Carbohydrates that get converted into Glucose quickly have brought a bad name to Carbohydrates. This is the simple answer to your question and then there is a complex answer also which I don't want to bore you with. Complex carbohydrates like the five positive millets namely, Foxtail, Kodo, Little, Barnyard and Browntop Millets are very good examples of COMPLEX Carbohydrates. Please , quit permanently the following toxic foods :- Rice Wheat Maida Milk Sugar Jaggery Honey, eggs , Oats , Non Vegetarian foods, processed foods , Dry fruits , dried nuts , coffee and Tea Soak yourself in direct sunlight for fifteen minutes between 1100 hours to 1400 hours every day. Cover your face and expose your back to direct sunlight without using any sunscreen for the Calcitriol , the active form of Vitamin D. When it's comes physical workouts , you are already at it's best. If you follow the above guidelines strictly, you will observe positive and healthy changes in six to eight weeks. And you will slowly be off every medication in six months to two years depending upon the severity of your condition. The above information is not mine. You may have also heard his name , Padma Shri Dr Khader Valli Ji. I have transformed my life and everyone suffering from non communicable diseases can transform their lives. Even the so called people who believe that they are healthy can adhere to the above guidelines and improve their health truely. TRUE and HONEST HEALTH is absolutely inexpensive. Please help yourself and please take care . Seasons Greetings 💐

I hv been on keto Intermittent fasting from last 3 years. What I hv learnt from the experts that our body makes glucose by gluco neogenesys from protein .. there’s no need to eat manmade carbs … we get carbs from vegetables in natural form.. Indian diet is loaded with carbs and we often suffer from excessive glucose and thus pancreases are fried due to truckloads of glucose. Better be a fat burner than a sugar burner … it takes time..and it’s tough as hell.. socially as well… but when you know how good you feel with good fats ,nature’s carbs and protein.. you don’t feel like getting back on flours and other high glycemic carbs

Insulin spike might be less when you sequence your food. But the end levels of insulin are same. May be the rise is sudden but more gradual. Either way, the effect of that food consumed at the end of the day is same.

Eat lemon juice if you do not like apple cider vinegar. It is better ti use lemon juice or aplle cider vinegar mixed with vegetables, salad, and eat before you eat carb. Do not drink just apple cider vinegar plain by itself. Eat it with hi fiber vegetables at each meal before eating protein, fat, then carbs at the end.
