I am 78 and a shortseller.Despite all studies one query I am unable to find answer. In Feb 2023 I had several short position on Voltas at 900 ce at Premium was 4.5 . Throughout the whole month Max pain never exceeded 850 but spot and Pcr were continuously increasing .The premium went upto 20rs and my notional loss was 48000rs one day previous to expiry.But I stood my ground as max was reducing from 850 to 830 but spot price going to 916 and Pcr 1.42 On expiry date the premium came down to 3 rs at 3 pm and I exited with a small profit of 4k.Spot at expiry was 904 My conclusion is that one cannot solely depend on Max pain but monitor Pcr also and if Pcr and spot price increase in tandem one should exit Last month also I found LT closed at 2175 while max pain was 2120 .I just scraped thru So do you agree that one should watch Pcr and spot price also and not just max pain ?

Thank you for your vedios Apoorva. As praful says there are many strategies but need to apply at the right time. For that I think you need to watch market on a daily basis and see all parameters. Very nice. I have watched many your vedios recently. I liked & learned a lot. 🙏
