Meditation and identifying thought loops, categorizing a thought loop as a thought loop, and it goes away. But what helped me most from this video is definitely GOAL.

Battle vs Wars helped me the most as lately, I was struggling understanding if I really love what I do. There was also this belief that got me which is that you either love what you do or you don't. It made my mind and vision very unclear for about a month now. It's a really long process to get where I want and full of bumps that I'd rather not do but now I'm confident it will be worth it when I get to the level I want. Thanks a lot, Sam!

Sam, I’m LOVING your last two videos including this one. So much value, inspiration and truth. THANK YOU. I would love for you to make a video about HOW to get clear on your goal. How do you pair it down when you feel like you have too many goals. Life is not one dimensional and there are so many departments of where to set intention and thrive in. Values and knowing what matters most, what your priorities are is key, but I would love to hear your perspective, insights and take on it. More on goal clarity would be amazing.

You’re going in a good direction with these videos. This was extremely specific and helpful for me. Honestly it’s all mindset that stops me so directly focusing on the awareness of different variables to follow order or chaos is what I needed to frame.

#8 helped me the most because it's something that I feel like I was on the path to realizing, but hearing it stated explicitly helped me skip all the hours of introspection. I think the biggest challenge I'm facing though is different than most other people's. I'm trying to figure out how to explain my visions of the future to other people when I've been keeping it to myself all my life. The hard part is finding the right questions to ask myself about the problem.

Loved the part about iterating variables. I've started to really look critically at my goal setting and I wrote down "don't move the goal posts during the day". Sometimes we just have to hold true to shit until we can see what's working, if we're in constant flux we just end up in fucked-brain because we haven't set our orientation mechanisms up for tracking progression/regression. I really appreciate these vids. Thanks Sam

Excellent points. I like how well organized your thoughts are and how you're able to outline everything to follow a clear path. Kinda like how most people should in life regardless of their goal. Also, I think it's worth mentioning that doing the same thing and expecting different results is more so stupid than insane. However doing the same thing and expecting the same results is science.
@reganjacklin4 жыл бұрын
Sam, your content has been life-changing for me. One thing that really helped me was the 'scientific method' which you teach in Consulting Accelerator as well. Aside from business, this helped me overcome a chronic injury that I dealt with for years... I had a sports related neck injury and it eventually got so bad that I couldn't even sit at my computer chair for an hour. When things looked hopeless, I just kept changing one variable. Nothing worked at first, but as long as I had one thing I hadn't tried, I stayed hopeful. Eventually I sniped the underlying cause and learned an extremely valuable life lesson that I'll have with me forever. As for a QUESTION: I'd love to know what your favourite books are! I do the same thing with my book collection. I keep a stack of my 10 favourite and every night I go and open to a random page and read a highlight or two. The speed at which this has helped me learn is borderline superhuman.

Thank you Sam. I am watching all of your videos day after day in a moment in which I am deciding about my future, building a business, getting my life on track. Everything you say to me is putting me on a mindset that I would have never been able to get without your insights, without your clear thinking, without your voice every day telling me that it's all a big equation and I am responsible to control the variables (and the constants). Thank you Sam, I don't know if you ever read this, but you are making a difference in my life, and I only read dumb comments down this video, that doesn't give justice to the huge amount of value you are actually creating. Also, you make me smile a lot. That line about the cascade of shitness in the society was just amazing :) You know I would love to ask you something. What if you have 2 goals and the environment they require for them to be accomplished is different? What if I want to build a business, so I choose to move to New York (where I am), but then I also want to build a family and I suddenly realize that New York will never be the right environment to have a healthy and stable relationship? What if the 2 main goals you have in life requires 2 different environments? How do you solve this shit?
@ExplainedWithMemes Жыл бұрын

The big epiphany here Sam was at the end when summarizing. You said in the Battles vs Wars. You said the macro we're going to love but micro not so much. We have to be unhappy to be happy. I've been trying to feel good all the time and wondering why it's hard to get the tasks I hate done. Trying to get myself to love those tasks instead of hating them. It's a waste of time. Just accept the principle of got to be unhappy to be happy. 2 sides of every coin. If there were no sadness how would we know what happiness feels like. Ding! Thank you man.

Awesome stuff once again Sam... I think something really practical would be to get a breakdown of how you approach the creative / problem solving process as it relates to building something (e.g an info product or a service offering). Sam! Hi I am from the CA. Sam I don’t know if I should tell you even what that program did to me! I once written you in the messenger. Told you about the University and what that did to me, and you are the teacher who brought me back to my life! Witch I never had! Because I had a depression of 30 years!!! And know I am running my own business! I am happy and grateful all the time. And I live my dream life. I am chilling all day on the beach. Seeing friends non stop. And doing my business the way I want! It fits me perfectly, because I manage it to be that way. I am writing you this in front of all others so that it is documented... You helped me fix my brain. I am new now! I watched only the first two weeks!!!!!!!!! This in the time of one year I guess, you can look it up... You are my teacher! And I am yours. There is only one thing I want you to know or be. Stay as neutral as you are, but stay forever as part of the good (I know I don’t need to say this to you, because you know...)
