This was filmed in 1994 and yet it is better than most recent courses on perspective.

I bought the DVD set years ago and he is amazing. I stopped doing drawings for a long time and now I'm getting back into it, and I'll be rewatching those DVDs. This little video here doesn't really portray just how amazing the whole series is. There's tons and tons of videos on youtube but there's not tons and tons of great teachers. HE is a great teacher. I actually do like the videos being in a classroom setting because you can tell he's checking in to see if his students are getting it. I feel like reading the students' level of comprehension helped him find the best ways to explain. When students asked a question, he stopped to flesh out his point a little more. I just can't say enough good things about his perspective series.

I’ve watched this whole series. The amount of value here is 10000x the cost, Marshall is pure love of art and a wealth of technical knowledge that can’t be overstated.

Just a quick comment to thank you, sir. I have just purchased your lecture and I didn't know I could ever have fun and interest in Perspective ! It is all thanks to you, and now I want to learn more and practice, practice and practice again so it can become more intuitive than calculated. I have already seen and taken notes from the 9 first sessions, now I go to the Depth measuring and Plan Projection... So thanks again for sharing, and also thanks for your teaching skill : I am a French drawing beginner and it is very clear and understandable when you speech.

@@ketankshukla it's deeper than that, they dont even care about the fully understanding of their own career, if you can break down the topics to the bone, then you can explain it from the bone to the skin, making you really good at what you want to be, if you cant or not even try that, is because you dont even care what you're doing with your lifetime.

This course is brilliant! Marshall breaks it down so you can understand it.. don’t underestimate that CHALK BORD! it’s the bomb actually, because it’s quick and the train of thought flows with his explanations and body language it all just comes together so nicely!

Hi Marshall. I'm interested in this course. I wonder does it have subtitle in other videos like in this one? I'm not native English speaker so subtitle is needed for me. I can learn from this video but I think if other videos don't have subtitles, i won't be able to understand the lessons clearly.

I'm Marshall's webmaster -- sorry we didn't see your comment until now. The videos are MP4s so they're compatible with most mobile devices. Try downloading them to your computer first and then transfer them over to your device.
