In this video I've managed to obtain a fake Samsung 45W PDO Super fast charger which was not that difficult for this comparison video to have a better understanding of the fake packaging and the actual adapter for more precise review. Enjoy.

Thanks. The one I was looking to buy had a too good to be real discount of 77.5%. So I came across your video whilst searching YT on how to spot fakes. Red flags spotted with your advice: 1) hanging hook is different. 2) back packaging is not multilingual. 3) back packaging text stops at "Dublin, IE". 4) "45.0W" not mentioned on the adapter/charger itself. Very informative video!

I have the fake one, but it just works fine. I checked with a usb c cable that has a measuring instrument, and it showed that it supports PD. The charging wattage from 0-100 is as expected, which was weird.

Writing of 45w or non is not exactly say that is fake, because some midrange Samsung phone come with free Samsung original charger without writing watts. You should read the model "E" for example Model: EP-TA845 (this is 45w), The genuine one should be short in middle, because this is special Samsung printed. The fake charger they can't get it from Samsung, therefore they direct printed using PC writing "E" style (three lines are same long) This method suit for all Samsung charger not matter 25 or 45w.

Comparing the weight of a genuine 15W charger with a 45W charger is not a proof. Also, I saw several 45W chargers (US plug) and "45W" is not written on the back of the charger.

I just bought one of these on ebay unknowingly. Sure as shit it doesn't charge my galaxy s20 ultra at 45watts since it will only output 3amps I can only get 27watts. So 2 watts more than their fake 25watt charger.
