I have the smaller version (42mm) and I get into a 3rd day before needing a charge. Some quick tips on better battery performance. 1. Turn OFF wifi (there is no use for it as your always connected via bluetooth on your phone). 2. Turn OFF GPS (turn it on only when you need it) 3. Keep brightness below 5 and have "auto low brightness" ON 4. Clear "Recent apps" under settings whenever multiple apps open. 5. If you don't use the heart rate monitor turn it off or keep it at every 10 minute interval. 6. Use watch face that is dominantly black and be cautious of which watch faces you use as some consume a lot more battery than others. 7. Keep widgets to a minimum. 8. Turn OFF "Voice wake-up"

Hello, I love that you are the first one to do an unboxing for Samsung galaxy watch. Can you do more on bixby, like booking an uber or navigating or any other stuff. I only was waiting for this watch for the voice assistance. just want to see if it can do some simmple tasks like the other watches in the market can do. Thank you......

Tim, for your full review, could you please show 1) how FB messenger messages come into the watch (interaction with the notification, do you just see the message, can you see older messages too??) and if pictures show up on it, 2) use Textra instead of Samsung Messages for SMS/MMS messages (same as above, SMS and a picture MMS test), 3) if you have an outlook account/app, same as 1 and 2, and 4) can you connect to captive portal WiFi networks on it. I'm vetting this for my wife if AW doesn't release hardware as nice as this for the fall. But the functions 1-4 up there are used heavily by her on her Moto360v2. Love your videos and thanks!

I like the watch face, and the ticking, but other then Bixby I can't say I see any difference or reason to upgrade from my S3 Frontier. Just my opinion.

Very similar to Gear S3.. Only addition is the swim mode because of improved water resistance. I'm using the S3 since a couple of months and its really good. Galaxy watch looks like a great upgrade. 👍

since galaxy watch have Gorilla Glass DX+ we would like to see how the screen is visible in direct sunlight compared to gear s3 or sport with same brightness

Wanted to see if they upgraded the s3 at all, apparently not. They nailed the watch so well last year that they just stuck with the same it appears, good news for me I guess. Maybe there is a few more features I missed but probably not worth upgrading. Thanks for video.

This video helped me recognized the wrong watch was in the box I was given after buying it at Target in October 2018. The watch that was in the box I received was all black with no silver and looked a little smaller with a different band. I then watched this video and could clearly see I was given the wrong watch, but yet I paid the price for the Galaxy Watch. Lucky for me Target allowed for an exchange. My word of advice to others is to not walk away with the box from the store without getting it open and confirming what is inside. The box I was given was sealed with plastic strips along the edge so it looked like other products you may buy in a sealed box.

Gorgeous smart watch from Samsung, I have the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier and love it Samsung pay is awsome. I love all the apps, ordered mine from Amazon, it came with two stainless steel watch bands one black the other silver and a wireless docking charging stand, screen protector. I Will be using Samsung Watches for the rest of my life, love Samsung this watch works wonderfully with my Samsung S9 Plus. This updated version is gorgeous as well.

After watching a buch of video before deciding a upgrade from my frontier to Galaxy watch, I finally upgraded to Galaxy watch today. Few reasons to upgrade was I wanted a classic watch with a modern look which I got it galaxy watch simce its a fusion of frontier and the classic version, also the battery life is insane on Galaxy watch, the software is identical and you won't feel any major changes. MST is missing but it's not a big deal since all retailers have NFC terminals these days unless u visit a classy pawn shop :-) Final words: I don't recommend upgrade to galaxy watch unless U are looking for a fusion design OR get a steal deal.
