How does the rear speakers connect to the soundbar?

What model of rear speakers do u have 8500 or 9000

How have you connected the soundbar to the TV?

@@TellyDan I have a new Chromecast with Androidtv direct to the soundbar, and then the sound ar to the TV with HDMI.

It should auto connect. Wait for the blue light to turn solid

@@Dorrzy123 received it yesterday. Using it in a finished basement around 600 sq feet. 7.5 foot ceilings max. I'm really enjoying it. Smart things app let's u adjust woofer settings for more base. For the price I'd pick it up. Go to a movie like top gun or polar express for their first scenes. Booms. Ill let u know more but its exceeding my expectations based on all the research I did prior to purchasing. Especially at the price point I purchased it at.

Hi Jason...I'm having the same problem. I can't hear people speak so I have to turn off but when actuon and music its really clear and loud then I have to turn down. Did you figure out a work around?

Atmos is height speakers...not rear

I have this exact soundbar and the rear speaker kit. While it does not affect the overall Atmos effects, it does add more immersive for true surround sound. The Atmos isn’t as great as some of the LG ones or true height channel speakers, it’s also not bad. Also depends on the height of your ceiling. The higher they are, the less you’ll actually get to experience. Hope this helps! PS the height channels are actually facing up at an angle, not directly overhead

Sorry Rodger 😞. The audio isn't through the headphones though I've got a rode video mic on the camera. I don't think I can measure the atmosphere effects. Your best bet is to have listen to one personally in a store

I think shifting the subwoofer buttom up and down.. Not pressing it,.. but pushing it up with your thumb.. shifting up..

Compare the two of them on rtings.com. They’re pretty similar

The major difference is if you have also a qualified QLED 2020 model you can use Q Symphony with the Q70T. The Q70R does not support this. With Q symphony the soundbar uses the upper speakers of the TV to create additional sound feeling.

You could but I'd prefer PlayStation directly to the TV to reduce input lag. Also ensure gamemode is on

HMDI connection is best. Bluetooth will lose audio quality.

I think you hold down play on remote when bar is in standby then hold ID set on the sub

I'd do what you suggested first with the arc hdmi from tv to soundbar. The bar should work automatically then

@@TellyDan hi it works brilliant but the sound and lip sinc can not be put right and they have a lisp...either the fibre optic or works amazing but have to use 3 remote controls 🤯😤

@@prisonss if you download the better user manual off line under your products in your Samsung account. You can see how to change the sound bar to adjust to any remote control.

LG does not include HDMI cable for their soundbar

If you use the eARC you only need one HDMI output from the Soundbar to the TV. The TV processes the sound.

@@BexiiBlitger I actually ended up Going for JBL 9.1 , very happy with it! The bass is out of this world and the midrange is also pretty good.

Did you try increasing the suborder volume from the remote and the bass from the settings button?

@@thetruthhurts5902 You can increase the bass on the soundbar & the woofer. The woofer is the obvious "flick"-button, but if you want to increase the bass on the soundbar then press the cogwheel button until it says "Bass". Then press the upper button on the round iPod-looking wheel/circle on your remote.

It's a bit of an old model now, on the Atmos content it sounds great but on DD5.1 it was a bit underwhelming

That lacks eArc though, no?

Have you tried adjusting your sound settings?

Did you not think much of your one? I thought this was quite good after a bit of adjustment
