Man that sound bar is smooth

Game mode pro on this bar is the sound setting to go with , makes it pop. Also, woofer up to +6, treble +4, and bass +6 .. makes it amazing

I am using Samsung Q70R soundbar) sounds very impressive both in movies and in games, and even plays music well! I personally liked it more than the LG SL8YG soundbar

Just purchased this as my first soundbar. I’m upgrading my 2009 32 in LCD to a 65 in QLED and a soundbar, it’s kind of overwhelming. But, yeah, just bought the 5.1 ch Q60t for $220 USD used. I’m very excited. Sounds great in your demo.

This prize would be a great introduction for QLED owners to experience surround sound, even though it's only 'virtual' it is still a massive upgrade from TV speakers! Need I say OLED owners need not apply, after all why would we, when we got Dolby Atmos! 😏 lol If you QLED owners want to see what path you should have gone down, click on the red dragon twice... just make sure you turn the volume up, not unless you're listening through your TV speakers! 😄 Lol

Samsung make great sound bars. In January I got last years Q80 with £400 cashback, so cost me £350. It absolutely thumps. The bar itself is huge. Mr Giant could do curls with it. The 60 shown here is much more discrete., but that probably suits a lot of people who prefer the more refined look in their living room

Hi. I got mine today. Have it BT connected with blue light on woofer box but can’t get any sound out of bass box. Not sure I will keep it. The tv speaker almost sounds better! Help.

Coming from surround movie theater system setup. I was never so disappointed... they sounds horrible... all that virtual sounds its fake. So fake... and nobody really talks about it, but when you have side speakers and center speakers so close to each other! you really can't tell the difference where sound come from... don't waste your money, you can buy cheap surround system with a reciver for under $500! they will sound 10 times better

What should I expect from the subwoofer? I bought this soundbar today and the subwoofer is connected to the bar. The light is blue, but I don't hear any sound coming out of it. Also no bass on any vibration. Try to reset, and connected again. A blue light. But know sound. Well extremely vagely. But it on +6 with the woofer button, but nothing helps. No difference between -12 and +6

Hi do this samsung soundbar got a earc connection my Samsung qled 4k hdr 55inches this year model got one

I have this with a q80t (uk). I set it up through the eARC (I know it can't do Dolby Atmos) but wondered what I need to set from there. I've put it on HDMI in sound setting (cable connected) and put it in adaptive sound. Is that all I have to do because there is no option for DTS or Dolby Digital?? Just PCM/Auto/Passthrough. Is what I have done right or should there be Dolby/DTS option like my older Sammy TV?

Do you test the Samsung hw q950t 9.1 soundbar also? I can't choose between that one because I have I q95t TV 2020 or the Sonos arc. Thanks great work

Hi all, hoping someone can help with this. So I just purchased the Q60T which is replacing my old HW-F550 2.1 soundbar. On my old soundbar it was extremely powerful and loud, I could set the volume to 13 and no more as it would be too loud. On the new Q60T I have to set the sound volume at 20 to get decent sound/volume to be on par with the previous soundbar I had. After speaking with Samsung support, resetting the new soundbar, trying different cables, I connected my galaxy s10 to the soundbar via Bluetooth with no hdmi connected and the sound volume was exactly like it was on my old soundbar, any louder than 13 and it was really loud. So I thought great it works perfect via my S10 but not through hdmi to the TV, my TV is 1yr old 55" series 7 4k Samsung so I don't get why the sound is so awful when connected to hdmi but not via Bluetooth. Anyone with this same soundbar have any issues like this and any resolution/fixes? Thanks

Well the sound bar sounding great and very clear with good bass using my headphones. I have read that sound bars can be hit and miss when it comes to clarity and oomph. Would be interesting to hear how you feel about it after using it for several weeks. Also It is good that your LG tv has that function to use the TV speakers as well as the sound bar to give it more depth of sound. Great review.

Has the audio delay been resolved from last years Samsung sound bars? If you plug it in to a Q90 and ensure Dolby audio is on, see if there’s an annoying delay when listening through the bar.

Hi, can I ask what your preference is between the HW Samsung Q60R Sound bar vs the HW Q60T Sound bar and why? Seems to be the HW Q60R is discontinued or impossible to get but the HW Q60T is the newer model without "Harmon & Kardon"

I have a few quick questions if you don't mind. I know you've had some issues with your OLED's but are you overall happy with them and would you recommend the current CX series? Soundbar with rear kits is better.

Great review . However there is one very big limitation to this soundbar as of now , it does not have PCM 5.1 & 7.1 support in it's HDMI in ports. Playstation 4 and other consoles have games with PCM 5.1 audio . So if we connect our consoles directly to soundbar and use earc for passthrough , PCM 5.1 audio in games with get reduced to stereo 2.1 output. Also the centre channel gets mute. PCM 5.1 audio is everywhere , even many Blu-rays and shows on Netflix , Prime and AppleTV has massive collection with PCM audio. Can you please test this soundbar for LPCM SUPPORT .Also rtings in there review has also mentioned the same thing and this is a massive feature missing , and if you are buying this for gaming or for PS5 , it will not decode PCM 5.1 , even though it 's predecessor Q90r had this feature. To have best audio and lag free experience , it is recommended to connect external devices like a gaming console or streming device , directly to the HDMI in ports of soundbar ,but with PCM 5.1 support missing , this soundbar has serious limitation and is not a worthy buy , untill samsung fixes this issue.
