Excellent recommendations... Never seen video on Akabane area before. We did try Shinjidai after seeing so many people inside the restaurant.. The fried chicken skin is addictive but not very healthy 😁

Sorry, I don't know. (I have never seen anyone with children in Akabane.) By the way, most izakayas in Japan are non-smoking establishments these days, there are a few that allow smoking. Children are not allowed in izakayas where smoking is allowed. It depends on the izakaya, many chain izakaya allow children to enter.
