Snorkeling ST. JOHN, USVI Kiddel Bay with a Shark!

6 жыл бұрынSnorkeling at Kiddel Bay in St. John, USVI. If you have the chance to visit, this beach is off the beaten path and few people know of it. There is a beautiful reef and underwater rock formations at the end point on the right side. Video taken in August 2017.

I was almost drowned there 2 years ago! My own fault, very rough current on right side, I entered with caution but almost immedatly was smashed into the rocks, again and again. It was like a washing machine back and forth! Hung on rocks for dear life, and was able to crawl my way out to shallower water on edge. Legs were bloody mess, and lots of sea urchin spikes in my feet. I am experienced snorkler, bad descion on my part. Lost both of my scuba pro fins there. Be safe folks

+Jennifer Alexander it’s a little St. John secret! There are people who visit there regularly that have not heard of it. It was right below our rental house!

+Allan Weidner it’s not remote at all! Just right around the corner of Salt Pond Bay. If you look on Google maps it will show you how to get there. 😊
