The Singing of the Star Bangled Banner was done in 1986 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. ABC News had the broadcast coverage of Liberty Weekend and then Sandi Patty, alargely unknown outside of Christian music circles sang the anthem casting Pepter Jennings to gasp, "Who was that!" So adding the 9-11 footage and reissuing this is a wonderful tribute
