Thank you for the video. Any wood restoration I've sanded profiles by hand and this video blew my mind. Literally a god send.

We have a few hundred linear feet of custom milled door and window casing that has quite a bit of chatter marks. It's 2.75" wide and hard Maple. I am thinking maybe a mop on a bench grinder. Any suggestions/advice on grits or a possibly better set up. I'm a DIY homeowner, not a shop, so trying to do a decent job without excessive costs, if possible. Thanks.

The Mac Mop, 10x4, would be the best option, especially if mounted to a bench grinder. You will have to have a long enough motor shaft to accommodate the 4" thickness of the Mac Mop. Mac Mops sand is finer than the grit they have on them. For example, 80 grit will sand more like 120 grit. If you need one grit to rule them all, 100 or 120 would be our recommendation.

Would the mop/stars remove paint on detailed antique furniture legs?

It would. The smaller eyelet stars (2" in diameter) work better, depending on how detailed we are talking.
