@@paztah2194 IMDB says that NWH hired the real actor. I’m try to guess why Sandman was kept sandy for the movie. Maybe it was the same way Electro’s body worked. The universe they landed in had some sort of “different energy” flowing through it, i think that’s how Electro put it, so maybe those parameters also applied to the sand Sandman was using

In the scene where his face was shown they reused the Material from the Spider-Man 3 Movie. That's why it appeared to U as if he hadn't aged at all... Same as for Lizard. They also reused the TASM scene from the Oscorp rooftop... Question is why the Actors of both of them are listed in the movies' cast...

Sandman was the most relatable villian in the Raimi triology. I'd even say that he was an anti hero and I really hope that he survived in the Raimi triology (There are rumors that he died later down the line)

@@williamchuba9397 Well he didn't do that much you know he was there only for some interactions and to fill the space. He was the character we all loved but same with Lizard they didn't get almost any character development while Electro, Green Goblin and Otto got plenty. But there was so much going on that we all forgot about these things and remmember them after we think about the movie more.

For people saying that they underused sandman,he literally joined villains just so they can help him take the box and return to his universe,so he can find his daughter penny.his whole goal in spider man 3 was to steal money so he could save his daughter,he even helped spider man because he thought that was Tobey,not tom.When electro disappeared,he freaked out because he knows spider man doesn’t kill.

Except the wife can't even give him credit for returning to see his daughter. All she can do is vilify him and run him down, when she should have been frantic with worry for him that he would be caught because of the likelihood of the home being his first stop. She should have been frantic, and ecstatic, and crying mournfully for him, for them, as a family, all at the same time, for his heroism and sacrifice to come see them. Instead she just gives him shit. Typical female of today. 🙄

Flint Marko is not a villain. He was merely a man who lived his life in regret for accidentally shooting Ben Parker, while trying to make his daughter healthy again. There's only one villain in Sam Raimi's third instalment and that's Venom🙏

I don't know which was more beautiful: Danny Elfman's theme esp in "The Birth of Sandman", or the depths and tragic nobility of Thomas Haden Church's soul. Both were so extremely poignant, the like of which is so rarely seen. They were like the meeting of two fathomlessly deep souls, which allowed this previously untravelled-to depth in a film. Extremely, extremely, preciously rare. Movie history right there in the making.

Yeah, most Spidey villains are glass cannons: they have weapons that could kill him, but human durability so that Spidey could destroy them in one punch (Doc Ock, Vulture, Electro, ect.) Green Goblin? Get past all the pumpkin bombs and gliders, and he's got Spidey's strength, durability, and almost agility. Then it's just a college kid getting beaten up by a 45 year old man

As God and Jesus said, forgive. Also choose Love over Revenge. With revenge you make things worse, with love you make things better. When an evil person knows what love is, they will become a good person. Humans can change, they can become better. That’s why, choose love. Not revenge. Like what Spider-Man did in this case, and the villain turned good and he regretted his past actions.

Flint Marko was just a man driven to the edge under extreme circumstances thanks to his daughter's illness. He didn't want to rob or hurt people but he was willing to do what it took to help his daughter.

No, Sandman and Lizard were never killed in their respective universes. The line where Strange says "They all die fighting Spider-Man." Wasn't in the film. They had a similar line but it was only referring to Ock, Goblin, and Electro. If Sandman truly did die then why would he help Tom fight Electro when he first shows up in the film?

It probably would have turned into corn, for the demands of 'ACTION', and 'DRAMA'. Frustratingly short thought they are, Sandman's best scenes, their poignancy, can only live in a subtle, humble environment. To do anything more with it, detracts from their humility, putting a spotlight where it is not asked for, and not wanted. I think this is what makes it so achingly poignant, and real.

Sandman was never a villain to begin with. He just wanted to save his daughter from cancer. Once Spiderman saw that, he chose to forgive him instead of locking him up. You can't judge a person until you know their whole story. Otherwise, you're no better than they are. I'm just glad Spiderman chose to forgive him instead of locking him up. Doing the latter would have only made things worse for both of them.

I think for Spiderman 4 they we're going to have Vulture and Carnage team up against Spiderman but Sandman was going to come in and help Spiderman similar to number 3.
